How bad is New Orleans?    

 

I have not seen them this year, but this is a good spot for them to keep it close with the jazz win last night and a "revenge" game at the OK Thunder.Or are the never worthy of betting on?

with kaman and okafor being questionable...(any updates!?) gordon,jack,landry out i cant even think about putting $1 on the NOH..... likely stay away from this one.

with a "revenge " game at OKC tuesday and last nights big SU underdog win at Memphis...its just a great spot for any NBA team getting 5 points at home...

Watch the line movement. It has moved from 3.5 to 5, so obviously the vegas sharps are basically telling you who they think will win the game

Money line has gone up from -170 to around -220 -230. Good thing I locked early at -175

umm....Im pretty sure the 74% of the public are the people that raised the spread from -3.5 to -5. I almost guarentee the "Sharps" are on the Hornets tonight, including myself. I like Hornets +5, Hornets +2.5 First Half and maybe even Hornets ML

If 74% are on a team and the line doesn't change, then I might agree with you. 74% isn't really even a decisive number to change a line by 1.5 within a few hours. I have a feeling that with Okafor and Kaman being questionable along with Jack Landry and Gordon out has a factor. If you are going to bet on the Hornets spread, I will wait until closer to gametime where you might get an extra half point or point

Your gonna be pissing away a bunch of money. With Kaman and Okafor most likely not playing, the Hornets have one big man left. Also no Gordon, Landry or Jarret Jack? So if you really think Ariza, Bellinelli, and co. are going to keep this one close go for Hornets, go for it. It may be a closer game then it should, but I can't see the Hornets hanging around. Jefferson and Millsap will have field days inside. GL

It was at -3.5 almost everywhere at some point, even though it was brief. It looks like its about to go up to 5.5 now even. I see the trend starting

Really? I only saw -4. Anyway, the volume of wagers has increased greatly over the past hour. This was the lowest wagered NBA game of the day in the afternoon. But, now with the 8 pm start time, it looks like it will be one of the top games of the night. Considering 72% is on side, I would tread cautiously.

Much worse to lose to Hornets tonight than to OKC tomorrow. Or worse yet, to lose to hornets tonight AND to Thunder tomorrow...
