Finally made some money last night on the Heat/Spurs UNDER, and should have hit the Nuggets as well, but they shit their pants in the fourth quarter.

No Rondo, possibly no Garnett, Green, Wilcox for the Celtics. I would be surprised if they are able to put up 100 points in this one. Now granted, without Rondo their defense goes down as well, but I think with the backcourt of Barbosa and nobody else they will want to slow it down big time. The Blazers are exactly a light it up type of team as well. Staying far far away from the spread in this one because of how many injuries/suspensions there are.
Prediction: Celtics 91 Blazers 88

Portland vs. Boston UNDER 191.5 (2.2 to win 2)

This spread should probably be around the 6 or 7 mark, even with the Nets on the road. They have been rolling lately winning 8 of their last 10 games. Nets won by 8 points in Brooklyn a few weeks ago, and the only possible pitfall is them looking ahead to the big game against the Heat tomorrow night. I don't really see that happening, Orlando is not good....and on a side note it's bullshit that Rondo gets suspended and nothing happens to any of the Nets.
Prediction: Nets 99 Magic 88

Brooklyn Nets -4 (1.1 to win 1)

Home Underdog struggles would also point to Philly, but I don't trust them right now after two straight wins but no covers. Kind of like the Lakers to bounce back and get a win against Denver who as we saw last night plays little to no defense.
I like the Knicks to probably blow out the Wizards...but will hold off for now.
Detroit could cover against the Grizz...who haven't really been great as double digit favorites.

I agree that Nets could be a 2 unit game but without Lopez and the Heat tomorrow I will respect Mr Johnson's superior performance and stick to a single unit

Denver who as we saw last night plays little to no defense.
Denver doesn't have a great defense but they've been average this year.. much better than the Heat (ranked near the very bottom) who you always seem to back b/c of their D
And please don't say the Heat's poor D is from "lack of effort" this year. I think its more a matter of teams have figured out a way to score against them and what used to work for them just isn't anymore. We keep waiting (and waiting...) for their defense to "show up"
