Check and study the boxscore and game flow chart from the SAS POR game. Popavich "let" the Spurs get blown out to get the whole team juiced up and focused for this game. Spurs by 8 IMO...good luck

Totally agree; 45 points in the 4Q for PORTLAND. You know Pop pulled the regular rotation out and put the bench scrubs in, most likely to rest the regulars and also to make a point. San Antonio's home court is at least 5pts, so if this game were even, then the spread should be SA -5, or maybe -4 as a discount for missing PG-PARKER. Just -2 or even lower is a trap line.

Best play on the board tonight IMO. Initially I didn't have a lean due to the Tony Parker injury, but the more I looked into this one, the more I realized that the Spurs just seem to step up and get the job done whenever they need to. I don't see them losing two straight games.
Prediction: Spurs 109 Thunder 104

San Antonio Spurs -2 (2.2 to win 2)

Just gotta trust my gut instincts on this one and believe that the Sixers really have given up, and the Nets really are one of the better teams in the East. Only reason I went with this instead of the UNDER is the threat of the Nets putting up close to 100 points against the hapless Sixers. Philly has no presence inside, which means Lopez/Evans/Wallace should be able to do whatever they want. Last meeting Reggie Evans grabbed as many rebounds as the entire starting lineup for the Sixers. How is that going to change?
Prediction: Nets 98 Sixers 86

Brooklyn Nets -6.5 (2.2 to win 2)

I'm on this with you CMJ. SAN ANTONIO may not have all the "flash" and attention that OKC gets due the Durant/Westbrook highlights, but they are the more disciplined and better coached team. Cannot go against the Home team. Prediction: Spurs 109 Thunder 104

This is OKC's 4th game in 5 days. They play at San Antonio
tonight and the line is San Antonio -2, c'mon, the Tooth Fairy, Easter Bunny,
Santa Claus, and breast implants, are real to!! They split both games that they played this season,
the home team winning each one. Manu Ginobli didn't play in either game. The
Spurs team was humiliated after giving up 136 points to Portland on Friday
night, at home, and losing 106-136. The Spurs are the rested team, playing at
home and it looks like an ambush. The Thunder on an incredible run, Russel
Westbrook , Kevin Durant, on an incredible run, the Spurs a 2 point favorite,
c'mon!!!!!
Spurs have the the deeper bench, more productive bench and
they should dominate the boards with Splitter and Duncan on 2 days rest.
Popovich knows how to light a fire under the Spurs, when they have embarrassing
losses. It happened twice in the last two months and now this is the third
time. The 1st time was to the Knicks,
83-100, two days later they beat Philadelphia 109-86! The 2nd
time was to Detroit, 109-118, two days later they beat Brooklyn 111-86! The
third time is the charm, we've got a WINNER tonight, with the Spurs

That's what I thought betting the Spurs in the playoffs just recently.

The Pistons shouldn't lack for motivation. They were embarrassed, 129-97, by the Clippers last night in Los Angeles. Both Greg Monroe and Jose Calderon expressed frustration with the loss with Monroe saying his team played with no effort. That's a strong criticism that should light a fire.
You may very well win this bet, but I wouldn't trust these pitiful bums that suit up for Detroit to come through for me in any way. I don't think these guys give a shi.t about getting destroyed last night against the Clippers, even if Monroe did admit that the team didn't try. You better hope the Jazz keep sucking, because the Pistons will probably put forth their usual shameful (lack of) effort.

Like the start to the Nets/Sixers game...no way does Spencer Hawes continue to be the offense for Philly...just gotta force more turnovers (not that difficult)
