2-1 yesterday with an * on the dang Wizards/Mavericks game. It happens though, that's why they call it gambling. Payed more attention to the line movements and fading public plays and such. Gotta keep that going and hopefully go on a run here.

I set the total right where it is...the line might be a touch high, but the Bucks certainly looked like dog poop last night. Magic have been great at home this year...and generally get more points. Small lean towards the OVER initially.
Houston vs Philadelphia -
No real feelings towards this game right now. I want to believe the Rockets can wipe the floor with this Sixers team...but as usually happens with a Dwight Howard team, the motivation just isn't there. I would assume Harden will sit out this game so he can be fresh for the bigger showdown with the Knicks tomorrow night. Too many if's
Charlotte vs Boston -
Initial lean is towards the OVER...which is something I never thought I would say in a game between the Bobcats and Celtics. The loss of Sullinger doesn't really hurt the Celtics because they have been going 10 or 11 deep in every game. It's a run and gun type of team that hasn't made mistakes. Only thing holding me back is that the Bobcats have been better defensively than offensively this year, and it might drag the Celtics down with them.

Grizzlies have 1 ATS win this year. Hoping that the majority continues to bet the Grizz in this game and hoping the line either stays the same or goes more in the Raps favor. Do enough to win type of game.
Cleveland vs Minnesota -
Really want to take the Wolves in this game as the Cavs have NO inside presence whatsoever. Kevin Love should be able to absolutely dominate as well as Pekovic. But the line movements or lack thereof with say a lot. Could be a late game moose type of situation.
New York vs Atlanta -
Line and total are both set right where I expected them to be. I would lean towards the UNDER if anything right now simply because the Knicks offense has been terrible...and I really don't think the Hawks can keep up the pace offensively that they have set.
Washington vs San Antonio -
Small lean towards the Wizards if Timmy Duncan sits out this game as well...if Timmy suits up, I really can't see any play here unless the spread goes down to the 9 range despite a ton of bets on the Spurs
LA Lakers vs Denver -
Well it does seem like the Nuggets have woken up finally. But enough to justify a double digit spread against the Lakers? Wide majority of the bets coming in on the Lake show early...good news is that they didn't have a single player last night that played 30 minutes so they should be relatively fresh. Small lean towards the Lakers in this one.

i love the Knicks tonight, it was at +4.5, i went nuts and bought 1.5 pts to make it +6, feel real strong about +6.
i also love the OVER in the TWolves/Cavs game, what do you think about that one CM?

I know you are asking CMJ but heres some thoughts of mine.
really like the knicks but no tyson chandler again and this time they are on the road. line is being fishy as people are all on NYK.
I also like the over in Cavs games initially. The Big front can put up points for Twolves. Rubio will throw crazy passes and get those assist. The only problem I see is Cavs offense. might see a 115-84.
But hey, you cant think too much betting and i will be on the over as well! BOL!

Big lean towards the Jazz in this game. Reason being is they should be looking at the schedule and realizing that if they don't win this one they aren't going to win a game for a while...looking at 0-16 before a b2b against Phoenix. Pelicans played like crap last night against the Lakers and I called them in the 2nd half as not having a lick of motivation. Now they are traveling into Utah and are expected to be up for this one?
Phoenix vs Portland -
I have no idea here. The Suns are 5-2? Only losses against the Thunder and Spurs? Wow. What happened was that they were able to put together a team of young players that just go out and have fun. They don't care that they are supposed to be bad...just running and gunning and having fun. This is a rematch of opening night, and I would lean towards the Blazers to exact some revenge on the Suns.
Brooklyn vs Sacramento -
Brooklyn can't win on the road right now, and the Kings have been a little bit better at home although not much. Small lean towards the Kings in this one as a show me game. The Nets have to show me they can win this game that they are expected to. The spread shows me Vegas doesn't think so.
Oklahoma City vs LA Clippers -
Might just have to sit back and enjoy this game. Line and total set right where they should be...only reason to put money on it is if the line movements tell me so. The total would be the play in that case IMO.

true that the bucks looked crappy last night but they were taking some low percentage shots early on trying to keep up. Heat were on a mission and played some aggressive D for the first 3 quarters.. once the bucks found the groove they piled on the points . in saying that so did the heat bench. magic avg over 100 and bucks not far away from that too. i see this going over easily.
like your write ups CM. followed you a lot from the shadows last year. you're a knowledgeable guy and dont get caught up in the crap that goes on in here. keep it up.

I must say, I am really liking the wizards and kings. I must say part of the reason I like both of them is about close to 75% of people are on the other side. But like you said, brooklyn is playing terrible on the road. They are playing lazy and slow paced. I like the Kings to come out with a fast punch. The wizards are playing tough and have been competing. They are 4-1 their last 5 ATS.
I like the Kings for the 1st half and the game. I also really like the Wizards.

A lot of bets coming in on the Suns early on...but I think the Blazers have a severe advantage in this game. Revenge is a factor obviously as the Suns embarrassed the Blazers on opening night. I wasn't sold on this team until the other night when they handled a pretty solid Pistons team. What have the Suns done well? They have a decent inside game with Plumlee and the Morris'. They have a decent point guard with Eric Bledsoe. What do the Blazers have? A good point guard with Lillard and a good inside player with Aldridge.
Prediction: Blazers 103 Suns 93

Portland Trailblazers -7 ($110 to win $100)

Might have to stay away from the Nets/Kings game because like I said up above it's a "show me" game. Would it shock anyone if the Nets won by 15? Would it shock anyone if the Nets lost?

Hard to bet against the suns right now. They are covering machines. 7 is a lot to ask of a "mediocre" Portland team. Yes they have Lillard and Aldridge but not impressed by anyone else. Bench lacks depth.

Philadelphia Sixers +2 1st Quarter ($110 to win $100)
The Rockets have had ONE solid first quarter this season...in their second game of the year against the Mavericks. Most of them have gone UNDER the total as well, which was going to be my play here...but the Sixers have a tendency to get out and run. Only way I can see the Rockets coming out hot is if James Harden goes nuts. Gotta take it as a sign that a lot of bets are coming in on the Rockets and the line hasn't moved.
