Did the NBA catch him or did the FBI by chance as they were investigating something else and they came across one of his calls by luck.
If they didn't, he would still be reffing today and you would still be calling out people that thought it was rigged.
The reality is, you are putting your faith in the NBA where clearly they don't have the protocols to detect fraudulent behaviour their own officials. If they did, they would have caught Donaghy themselves.
Good point Rostos, but as a result of Donaghy-gate, I'm sure theNBA has put some more emphasis on fraudulent activity with their officials

The facts are that Donaghy got caught. He was betting on games and influencing results to fulfil his bets and that of the mobs for years and years right under the nose of the NBA who didn't have a clue what was going on.
The FBI were investigating another case and came across him by chance.
It took a flukey event to catch a ref who was betting for years and years and would probably still be betting and reffing games today if it weren't for that chance.
Then the NBA comes out and says no one else is doing it. How do they know? Did they know Donaghy was doing it?
You can believe what you want to......if you cannot face the reality that players and refs are secretly laughing behind your back when you put your hard earn on it, that is for you to deal with....

You are free to believe what you want to believe.

What does this have to do with being a successful punter...
I know exactly what happened with Tim. Your correct with most oif what u said.. But i couldn't care about that. I watch games all day everyday and sorry they're not fixed..
You strangely think that more than 1% of games in the NBA are fixed. Even if they were its so irrelevent to your success as a gambler.
Maybe you should learn a little about hadicapping who is reffing each game. That might help you improve.
Your just looking for excuses for you losses..

Well could have been a better night, but it certainly could have been worse. Missed out by a point on the Rockets/Sixers 1stQ and the Blazers came out like crap

When I say fix, do I think teams lose games on purpose? I highly highly doubt it. I very much doubt teams bet against themselves to lose, come out and lose. But I have no doubt in my mind that lines and totals get tampered with.
Losing games on purpose would bring a lot of guilt on people and would eventually get out....
But to these people, if they are losing, they don't see any harm in losing by 5 or 7 points if it meant doing close friends and family a favour....
Where money is involved, evil is always close behind it. It is just a fact of human nature since humanity began.
I don't want to hear for 1 second that these players earn so much money, why would they do this...Have you heard of Raj Kundra? he owns the Rajhastan Royals, and is in the top 200 of the richest people in British Asia...yet he was caught betting on games his team were involved in.
Where money is involved , evil, greed and temptation is always around it....

CM Johnson. Your initial takes are very accurate. You had big lean on Utah! Your really liked the T-Wolves. You were unsure on Portland-Phoneix. And you bet Portland. You should've been 2-0 last night on your initial analysis. You know what your doing! It shows in your write-ups.
