2-1 yesterday...should have held off on the Celtics bet.  Kind of let everyone on here talk me into it rather than going with my instincts.  Oh well...I'm the one that pushed the button.  Moving on to a big day Wednesday.

Atlanta Hawks -3  (1.1 to win 1)

I hate myself for even throwing this play in tonight.  The Hawks routinely let me down...but it's the right play tonight.  They have alternated wins and losses over the past week and a half...but more importantly the Raptors have sucked without Bargnani, and now it's looking like Rudy G.ay will not be able to go tonight.  Hawks were able to hang with the Pacers for the most part, just fell a little bit short. 

Prediction:  Hawks 98  Raptors 89

No lean in the Bucks/Sixers game.  Bucks have fallen big big time after a nice stretch.  Sixers are another team on my shlt list...and I don't know if I can back two teams on that list on the same night.

The nightly "who cares" game is clearly Orlando against the Bobcats, and if anything in that game you have to take the home team.  As said and pathetic that is, the Bobcats should be the better team on the court tonight.  There is no way in my right mind that I would put money on this team however.

I guess you don't follow this team. Raptors have actually done quite well without Bargnani and Bargnani has been a non-factor this year for the raptors. He gets booed by home town fans. Raptors are giving their rookies more time to play to play out the season. So there are gonna be lots of mistakes. And if Atlanta cares about getting the 4th seed, they would care about this game. This game matters more for them.

I really really really really smell a 1-2 point victory for the Celtics tonight.  Game winning shot type of status.  Can't trust them obviously to go on the road on a b2b and win, let alone cover a spread.  By far the most up and down team all year is the Celtics...they love their streaks whether they are good or bad.  My strongest lean in this game is the UNDER.  Only way it goes over the total IMO is if it goes into OT, which is possible.

They haven't done well without him since ruling him out for the year...they did alright ATS without him earlier in the season.

Some reverse line movement in the Knicks game against the Grizzlies...a majority of the early bettors have been on the home team, and yet the line has gone from a small favorite for the Knicks to a small underdog.  They looked pretty damn impressive last night against the Celtics...but their two offensive options Carmelo and JR Smith shot 54 combined shots last night.  Now having to go up against the toughest defensive team in the league?  I would lean towards the Grizzlies if anything.

Heat vs. Bulls should probably be the game of the night for most people...strong lean towards the Heat to continue their crazy streak.  Heat on the road on Wednesday's have been very good this year as well...6-1 SU with the only loss coming against the Clippers early in the year.  I would say that the best bet in this game would be on the OVER.  Bulls might be without Noah in the middle once again, and in their last ten games they have allowed 99.1 points per game so their defense hasn't been itself lately.

Hornets have been world beaters, and there is a part of me that is strongly leaning towards that trend continuing tonight against the Clippers who just lost a big game last night against the Mavericks.  Clippers are 1-6 SU in their last 7 road games against the Western Conference.  Will certainly be watching this line very carefully.

Hornets are 7-3 ATS vs Clips in the last 10. They are also 4-0 ATS and SU vs. clips in the last 4 at NO.

The last six home games for the Rockets have all gone UNDER the set total...and tonight's game against the Pacers is a prime opportunity for another UNDER.  I'm not ready to say that they have figured out how to play defense...but more of just going up against the slower paced teams.  Pacers are once again without Granger, which doesn't hurt them that much, but it's also questionable whether or not George Hill will be in the lineup, which is a major offensive contributor.

Washington vs. Oklahoma City OVER 199  (1.1 to win 1)

Not going to wait on this play.  With Beal and Price out for the Wizards, and Ariza, Nene, and Webster as game time decisions I don't see any way in the world they can slow down the fast paced Thunder who are well rested and coming off a blowout win against the Blazers.  Wizards even with their injuries have shown the ability to put up points with the great John Wall.  Might be another 40 point performance for him tonight...and I will be watching the boards for a possible prop play as well.

Prediction:  Thunder 114  Wizards 98

No feeling towards the LA Lakers and Minnesota game...I want to see some consistency out of the Lakers, and how they adjust to the latest injury.

Nuggets/Spurs is an absolute no play until we find out the exact status of Ty Lawson.

Small lean towards the UNDER in the Utah/Phoenix game.  Last 20 games in Utah have averaged 193 points overall...and the Suns are one of the most inconsistent offensive teams in the NBA.  Only thing holding me back is figuring out if the Jazz are going to come out and play balls to the wall and put up 110 or so.

I don't think the Hawks were able to hang with the Pacers at all.  I believe they were down by double digits at half, even worse at the end of 3, and made a big run in the 4th to backdoor cover.  I was on them +7 and felt extremely lucky to get the win.

Small lean on the Warriors as well to blow the Kings out of the building coming off a big win against the Lakers.  As big favorites (9 or more) the Warriors are doing pretty well this year, but so are the Kings.  A majority of those games have also been higher scoring.  Warriors have lost to the Kings in two of their three games so far this year, and squeaked by in the third game.

Last 11 home games for the Blazers have seen 10 OVERS.  Blazers in those last 11 games have averaged 105.1 points per game.  Very impressive for sure.  Last 5 road games for the Nets have also gone OVER the total.  A wide majority of the early betting public is on the UNDER...if the total doesn't move, a play on the OVER would certainly be considered.
