Thanks Tim, but I think he was referring to Bulls and Warriors titles and I was reminding him that it wasn't the cakewalk to the Championships for Jordan that some people remember them as. I think it has been one of the easiest roads to the Finals for this Warriors team.

When someone basis greatness purely on titles it automatically tells me they know they are not better. Who cares what record was he played in the perfect time. Against marginal teams......all the elite players of generation before that mj could not beat were old and tired.
You are obviously too young to remember MVPs Charles Barkley and Karl Malone or the Detroit Pistons Bad Boys. Magic Johnson was still a great player in '91, as were Clyde Drexler, Shawn Kemp, Gary Payton, Malone & Stockton. Those Jazz teams won 60+ games, as did Barkley's Suns and the Sonics won 64 in '96. The Cavs won 51 this year. The Warriors have a much easier road to the title than the Bulls did.
Magic had hiv in 91......the bad boys were old as dirt. The jazz would be a middle of the pack team in the West right now. They had Stockton and malone........im not sure Stockton could even play and be effective against the elite pgs right now......the fact that they were his biggest challenge tells me how average the league was then. The players are better now it's just science. We know how to get more out of our bodies

Pippin most overrated player to ever play. A hall of farmer - sure (and prob only cause you were the perfect robin on batman's team). But top 50 all-time, you've gotta be kidding me... I cringe when he says things like Lebron could be better than michael - listen moron, the only reason you're anything more than an all-star is one Michael Jeffrey Jordan and oh yeah, also because of Phil Jackson.... case and point when he moved to blazers...
But ManCity, KD Steph > MJ+Pip isn't the point and I would actuallly argue that MJ+Pip could be the right 2 because you give MJ another all-star and I'd never bet against that... Rather, from top to bottom the warriors are deeper and more talented... who else did the pulls have - Steve Kerr, over the hill Dennis rodman... Jed bushler..... yeah give me Dray, klay, iggy, sean Livingston to round out my roster
These little debates are fun eh
Pippen is much better than most people think.
In '93 Jordan retired. In '94 the Jordan-less Bulls won 54 games and finished 3rd in the East. They faced NYK and lost the series 4-3 but lost a pivotal game 3 on a phantom foul on a 3-point shot with less than :02 left. The Knicks went on to win the East and lost 4-3 to Houston in the Finals.
Could Chicago have won the Finals if the phantom foul had not been called? Who knows.
At the very least though, the 94 Bulls were a Finals contender. They were one of the 4 best teams that year even after Jordan left. Which is much different than the '11 Cavs or '15 Heat which were both lottery teams after Lebron left.
As for GSW vs Chicago then -- none of the Chicago teams ever swept an NBA Finals. Let alone go 16-0.

Vegas had Warriors as -360 favorites against them.
Yep, and there's a reason for that. I watched all of the Bulls championship teams and while the 96 team was their best, it wasn't as good as this Warriors team. Not only would the Warriors win, I don't even think it would be close.Curry > HarperKlay < JordanDurant > PippenDraymond > RodmanZaza/Javale/West > Longley/Wennington/EdwardsThe only match up where the Bulls have the edge is MJ over Klay and I think Klay would do a reasonably good job defending him. Not saying MJ couldn't score 30 but when he went against Joe Dumars or Mitch Richmond, he wasn't Superman. Klay is a GREAT 2-way guard and he's longer than MJ so don't go thinking MJ would score 40. He might "only" score 25.None of the other Bulls have the advantage vs the Warriors. Harper was a good defender but he only scored 7 points/game. Pippen was a great 2-way player but vs Durant? Nope. 6'7 Pippen loses to 6'11 Durant and Durant is much more skilled offensively. Rodman was a great defender and rebounder but Draymond is the best defender in the league and he rebounds AND SCORES inside/outside. Rodman averaged 5 points/game. The Warrior centers, especially Javale and West, are much more athletic than the Bulls centers.MJ averaged 30 points/game that season.Pippen averaged 19.Kukoc averaged 13 off the bench.Nobody else scored in double figures.Speaking of the bench, the Warriors have Livingston, Iggy, and Ian Clark who are all very good and the Bulls had Kukoc, Kerr, and an old John Salley who averaged 2 points/game.You think that team would keep up with the Warriors on the scoreboard???Warriors 105Bulls 85
With the way nba rules has now probably, you touch players hair and its already a foul. Jordan is going to score over 60 points every game. And if they play like the rules on the 90 era, probably all warriors starters are injured already on the first game lol

Jordan would NOT score over 60 points/game. Couple things:
90's basketball was physical but it wasn't THAT physical. If you listen to the talking heads on ESPN/FS1 they'll have you believe it was football on a hardwood floor. Don't believe the hype.
When MJ drove the lane, if you even breathed on him a foul was called. He went to the free throw line a LOT. It would be the same way today, he'd shoot free throws if someone touched him but let's not pretend he got knocked to the ground in the 90's and no foul was called. MJ got every call!
At best, he would score 40 on Klay (probably more like 30) and other than Pippen, the Bulls didn't have great scorers so you tell me where all the points are gonna come from vs the Warriors because the Dubs are getting at least 105.
