BE CAREFUL!!!!!!  THERE IS A REASON WHY THE LINE IS -5.5.  PISTONS ONLY HAVE 7 LOSSES THIS SEASON - AND...................   YOU GUESSED IT 5 OF THEM HAVE BEEN ON THE ROAD.  OTHER TWO LOSSES WERE HOME LOSSES TO CHICAGO(WHO THEY LOST TWICE TO ALREADY) AND UTAH.

I AGREE THAT THEY SHOULD BEAT THE WIZARDS BUT BE CAREFUL BEFORE MAKING IT A POD BECAUSE THIS GAME IS ON THE ROAD.

and to be honest....98% of the time i would agree with you...

i hate laying chalk on the road in the NBA....i rarely do it...

this falls in that 2% category....

Detroit 16-2 in their last 18, winning by double digits 13 times. I'm gonna take my chances with the beast from the east, the Pistons.

Laying the road chalk is tough, even if it is Detroit that's on the road.  I agree that they SHOULD win and cover, but you never know on the road.  I think there are better plays on the board for POD rather than DET laying the chalk on the road over washington.

I like Det here. They are a defensive with timely shooters. Yea I know it's on the road, but Det and Bos are the exceptions IMO.

A couple of observations -

A lot of Detroit's losses in November and early December stemmed from Billups's injury that he suffered to his hand very early in their west coast swing during that stretch - rendering him less effective than he usually is; he seems to have recovered from that - and the Pistons took precautions by limiting his playing time during that stretch, resulting in several losses (including the lopsided one at Los Angeles to the Lakers)...  For all of the praise concerning Boston's vaunted 3, the Pistons are a slight fave personally at present b/c of Billups - Rondo may become a great PG in the future, but he still is only 2 years removed from Lexington and the University of Kentucky...

The Pistons have readily conceded that Chicago and Utah are the 2 teams that have presented match-up problems in the last few years - so no surprise that 3 of the losses on their record are owing to those 2 squads.

Antonio Daniels is coming back for this game, i guess thats worth a 3 pointer....line should be -8
