NBA thoughts after a handful of games. The top 6-7 teams with dependable bench scoring are:

1. Warriors
2. Pacers
3. Grizzlies
4. Hornets
5. Wizards
6. Cavaliers
7. Raptors

The broadcasters were complimenting the Warriors bench on Tuesday night. They are deep and lead the league in assists; that is Kerr's brand of basketball.

Hornets... can score in bunches, play at a fast pace, but can also forget to defend once they are up big. They had a 23-points lead against the Raptors and at halftime it dwindled down to a 5-point game. All of this production w/o Brandon Miller.

A surprise on this list are the Wizards. And i haven't watched any Wizards game; too early to tell. They played 2 tough defenses and the Hawks twice which were track meet games.

Raptors.. several 3-year and 4-year college players; young guns but they hustle, including Mogbo who is always around the ball defensively. Top 10 offense right now even w/a departed Gary Trent and hurt S.Barnes and I.Quickley. Defense sucks; fast teams like Hornets will score on 'em in bunches.

Cavs... not surprised; grounded vet team. Top 5 in offense/defense.

Tonight... Mavericks and Spurs to c0ver one of the Halves.
