more the fact that its Kobe bryant... if your sorry team had a kobe on it you would be upset to.. are if u were a kobe fan.. or hell a real nba fan at that.. Kobe is one of the greats.. thats why its a sad time..
hes not lawson that was just having a decent season..
same thing happen last year when rose got hurt.. DUH injuries are apart of the game but when it happens to the best or franchise like players its sorta a big deal for all fans...
again not like your lawson were people could care less or prolly didnt even know he was out unless they happen to watch a game were his team was playing there team.. lol

Nate alot different when two guys are in their prime and can recover no problem. This is an all time great at end of career. Big difference. Its not about winning this year cuz ur right the lakers werent goin now where. Its about seeing the last of probably second greatest player ever

I dont feel sorry for myself at all. My life sont skip a beat. But he is my favorite player and to see it possibly end like that is sad. And ur comparing two guys who didnt even make all star team to one of all time greats

it would be nice to see him go out after playing a game .. and not go out on a injury..

Joepa yes he mite return but will he play at high level. He will most likely miss all of next year and then were talkin 36-37 yrs old coming off major surgery. Could b a shell of himself. Hopefully not like jordan on wizards

Wrong. I was back playing bball 4 months after tearing my achillies. And that was without physical therapy. So expect Kobe to miss 0 games next year.

It's  freakin torn-he couldn't walk on it the Locker Room-Jim Buss screwed this team up by hiring the wrong coach for his personel, idiot! Kobe could be resting this week for the second season, now he'll be resting in Cedar Sinai...so Jim, do you feel you proved your freakin point NOW????

I've been a Laker fan all my life. Needless to say, I watch every game. 

If its torn, I think Lakers have no choice but to amnesty him. A team is bigger than the player and the Lakers fans know what I'm talking about. 

If amnestied, I don't know how that affects his legacy. It will be interesting to see how that plays out. 

Lakers need to move Gasol for Love. Love should force a move to LA. Love wants LA so bad he could taste it.

Kobe is not a good person... therefore people will cheer this injury. Not saying I am, just saying people hate him. He's a rapist and a cheater but a very good player. I feel bad for the NBA TV ratings but not him personally

Why would you amnesty him? Torn achilles isn't as serious as torn ACL and even that is pretty routine nowadays.

He'll be in a cast for 2 months after surgery and will be back playing within 4-6 months. Even faster depending on physical therapy.

Pro ur probably right. It will either goe two ways. 1) they wont get off the mat 2) they play with more energy and heart then they have all season. The more i think about it ur right i would lean 2)
