Clearly Kyrie and his people are all doctors since they know more than those in medical professions. What a genius. Clown
Intermittent fasting is actually a more natural and healthy way of living/eating, and a way of life for many, including me. What other animal eats the way we do? Why are we a fat fucking society. Three squares a day and sedentary lifestyles. Start fasting 12 hours a day. You'll look and feel 10 years younger.
I'm not saying fasting is the only way. I know very healthy people, with healthy metabolisms, who eat 5 or 6 very small meals/snacks a day. Fasting is not for everyone, and when done incorrectly, can really screw with your system. What I am saying is guys saying, "Oh my god, you can't go 12 hours without eating and perform...." Well, like someone said, you're probably fat. I'm known people who fast for Ramadan. If I remember correctly, you can break your fast at sundown, which means he can get the right portions of all the necessary macros in before came time. Carbs turn into energy pretty much immediately so if you're breaking a fast correctly, with plenty of fruit, etc. energy is not an issue. And frankly, your body only uses energy directly from the foods we eat for roughly 8 hours, give or take, depending on what it is. After that, all unused calories are converted to fat. That's why simple sugars make you fat. They are already a glucose. Your body doesn't have to turn it into a sugar. And unless you're training for the Olympics or fighting a forest fire, you'll never be able to burn it faster than the body converts it to fat for storage.

I'm not making an assumption about fasting. It has been a way of life for me for about four years now. I'm speaking from both life experience and reading the works of actual doctors and nutritionist. It's a very hotly debated subject but I can promise you the way we eat is not in line with the natural order or primates, felines, canids, etc. Ruminants tend to eat nutrient deficient things so they must spend most of their day grazing. Whales are huge. And they are warm blooded animals who live in the water. It takes a fork ton of calories for a warm blooded animal to regulate body temp in water. This is why swimmers must consume so many calories. So there are exceptions in the mammal class but most of us are predators and/or scavengers. Our metabolisms are meant to not know when are next Neal is coming. This is our primary reason for storing fat. Insulation is only a secondary reason in humans. You think our ancestors were eating three meals a day? Some people feed their dogs three meals a day. You think a wof is eating three meals a day? What mammal besides whales, ruminants, wakes up and immediately eats before earning it?

I thought Stumpo was married??? Now he is "hooking up" with randos with covid and not catching it. Such a cool pimp. Envious.
I am married. I think we have already established that I have issues with drugs, and alcohol, and promiscuity. I have issues. I am a deeply flawed person. I love my wife but I spend a lot of time away from home. And when away, I make poor decisions.

@DeezyAZ81 Hoping that was a joke stumpo, otherwise wifey won't be happy.
It's not a joke. I wish it was. I literally was did blow, and hooked up, and spent the night with a chick who tested positive for covid a few days later. And she was pretty sick. Not hospital sick. When people say covid is the flu they sound like idiots but when they say it's a cold, they are absolutely right. It can be more than that, sure. It cause SARS. Pneumonia. Death. For most it's just a cold though. Sometimes a bad cold. Sometimes barely a cold.

Isn’t that like saying you can’t question the president because you aren’t the president? Also there are some in the medical community who don’t want the vaccine either. The CDC said at first that masks weren’t effective too. I’ve had 2 shots, the first gave me chills so bad I was freezing for 4 hours straight and considering going to hospital.

She wasn't a rando though. She's a good friend I have known for quite some time. All these vices go hand and hand. If you do blow, and you aren't ugly, or fat, you will find yourself hooking up with other coke heads. If you drink, if you party, you will find yourself hooking up a lot. Sometimes with random. Sometimes with people you know. It's a lifestyle, and it all goes together. It's fun and sad at the same time. Tears of a clown stuff. It's all fun and games but what lies beneath? Are you just trying to fuck the pain away. I always considered myself a pretty upbeat happy guy who just likes to have a good time but now I sometimes wonder. I'll be 40 soon. I have a family. I shouldn't be partying, doing blow, boning "random" like I'm 20. We're a generation born into original pain like original sin. A generation of self medicators. The kids are not right.
In all fairness, I have clamped way, way down on all of this in the last couple of years but it's all still a thing.

Fasting has actually been proven to have lots of benefits, people often report incredible mental clarity and focus.
Unfortunately for Kyrie, his focus is on things like the earth being flat and the vaccine having a microchip in it that wants to hook all the black fellas up to a supercomputer.
The reality is, it's been proven in most sports that you can't just buy your way to a championship. Even in the NBA where it's much easier to be good just by having all stars it rarely has worked - you have to grow a team organically, some draft picks, some FA guys, some role players. You buy a bunch of stars from other squads and they cant cant figure out the heirarchy and the egos screw it all up.
The Clips tried to buy a chip, the Nets tried, even Philly tried in a different way with 'the process' which resulted in them drafting guys who continually failed or got injured like Nerlens Noel, Jah whatever forget his name, Fultz. The Washington Redskins tried this many times it never worked. Okay it kinda worked in the NFL with the Rams but they did draft a lot of those pieces too.
Boston is like the best defensive team in the league and it wasn't just injuries and Kyrie nonsense that kept the Nets from being higher than the 7th seed, they don't play D, Nash is a bad coach, and they got rid of some awesome role players like I have no idea why they ever thought Jarrett Allen was expendable he has everything the current team lacks.

That’s right conspiracy theory all these new variants are coming from the fucking vaccinated people over 90% of people getting these new variants are vaccinated so shut the fuck up there’s your proof

@StumpTownStu Animals have been doing it on a consistent basis. I would agree if it’s done on a consistent basis and not strenuous activity where you are purposely burning all your fuel. Dogs can be fed once a day.
So can humans. Unless I'm on vacation, or away for business and eating out socially, I like to eat one meal a day (OMAD) with 23+ hours of fasting. Or what's referred to as the Warrior diet, which is all your eating in a 4 hour window with 20 hours of fast. My record fast is 102 hours. If Kyrie was to wake up and say eat breakfast, his body will already have started converting that glycogen (glucose) into fat for storage by game time anyway. Fats and proteins are metabolized slower so you maybe working off of that energy still if you eat a meal rich in protein and/or good fats but most carbs would have been converted hours before. Definitely the simple sugars in junk food, or even the sugars in fruits. So if he's playing a night game, and he breaks his fast at sundown, and he breaks it with a balanced meal of the right foods, he would have no problem performing. Eating three meals a day is not in sync with our metabolism, with our evolution, and that's one of the reasons we are a morbidly obese society. Too much food, not enough activity.

vax are for the weak, the strong wouldn’t need it. If this wasn’t an issue Mets would destroy everyone and probably win the chip. Right now it’s bigger than basketball
