No load management for game one. Portland is tanking and maybe one of the 10-20 games the whole Clippers lineup is healthy and playing. Combo that with home opener and we got a rout tonight in LA!

Paul George might get injured during the National Anthem, be out for 2 weeks.

I don't see any chance Portland stays in this game even tho 9 points a bunch for first game of the season. Scoot Henderson , shaedon sharpe futures are bright but not sure ready yet . Both skipped college . I think clips roll imo . Bol 

In the first 6 minutes of this game, all five Clippers starters have contributed a dunk. Ivica Zubac was fed twice.

Clippers clowned those fools in the 1st half. The Clips made 9 of 18 threes while the overwhelmed Blazers made only 3 of 14. No surprise that the Clippers’ attempts were of a significantly higher quality.

l never bet on home favorites who are up huge at halftime to simply win the 2nd half, but it’s tempting here.

I didn’t see one new face on the floor for the Clippers in the first two quarters. That’s the continuity I was betting on.

I bet it small. Clippers plus a half point.

Obviously the lottery-bound Blazers aren’t much of a test, but these Clips look damn good. These old guys will probably wear down by next spring if not sooner, but in the early going we should be looking at these guys closely while George and Leonard are both healthy and spry.

And that’s why I don’t ask home teams who are already up huge at halftime to simply win the 2nd half. The Clippers pushed the 20-point halftime lead up to 96-66, but the scrubs sucked down the stretch in the 4th quarter.

They were so bad, in fact, that they nearly ruined my beautiful -8.5 bet. Man, it’s too early in the NBA season for that booshit.

The Clippers scrubs got outscored by the Blazers scrubs 18-6 to end it, though the Blazers did have one non-scrub on the floor (Shaedon Sharpe). So it was like 5-on-4 basketball for the final four minutes of garbage time.

You got greedy.  Yes, greed is good as a general rule of thumb , but you had a 3 ticket wire to wire winner in your pocket.
