L.A. Lakers/MIN. 'Wolves

I believe the Lakers will take this game tonight.  I know there are a lot of questions about if Kobe will play or not.

I feel that based on past history, should Kobe not play, the rest of the team will step up.  Mind you there are some very talented players upon this team that get overlooked many evenings due to Kobe.  In the past when he has been out the team as a whole has really shined.

I think if he does end up playing they will continue their dominance on the 'Wolves.  A good all star rest should have the Lakers in true form. 

Good luck to everyone.  I'll play the Lakers tonight on the ML and spread.

Ok, big money being layed down on L.A. Lakers.  Line went all the way to 7 1/2.  That's ridiculous.  Going to middle this game if it goes to 8 or 8 1/2

Kobe Bryant has been cleared by a neurologist and will play on Wednesday against the Timberwolves.

Bryant went through extensive tests earlier in the day and passed them all. According to his neurologist, he was nauseous and had a headache as late as Tuesday, but improved significantly on Wednesday. In addition, he will start the game wearing a mask. We knew he would try to do everything he could to play, and that's exactly what he did.

Kevin Love, who is suffering from flu-like symptoms, will not play Wednesday against the Lakers.

Love had been dealing with a rib injury and a back injury, but was expected to play in this one. It's unfortunate news for owners who decided to the roll the dice with him, but the silvering lining here is that both his ribs and back appear to be fine. The 'Wolves play again on Thursday against the Suns, but it's not clear whether Love will be able to suit up for that one.
