any reason for me not to bet lakers?   i know philly is hot right now but they beat mediocre teams

this game reminds me of when the celtics played in phili.....was a battle right to the end. I expect this game to be also. This is a huge game for phili to gain some respect from their fans on their home court. Do you think the lakers take phili seriously? I can see them doing just enough for the win...

Don't bet against hot teams. But Lakers are hot as well. In this case usually it favors home team esp if they are catching points.

Lakers destroyed the -4 in Indiana, now it's another meager 4.5 in Philly. Road burn and too many eyes on the purple an gold.

I'll spectate.

This is an easy game to overthink, i feel the lakers are far superior in every phase, their playing well, Bynum brings another dimension for them and even though he is easing back in i look for him to have a good game here but just the minutes he provides makes Pau that much better. Sixers bigs are no match for the lakers, the lakers bench is better than philly hands down.And then there's Kobe. Sixers have covered 10 straight, 12 out of 13 so yes they've been on fire and i think they are overdue for a bad game. Losing to the lake by 10 is not hateful. I made a similar post in CM'S thread. BOL, just my opinion.

kobe and co. and phil take every game seriously...take into account that they are 3rd in the west (obviously want to be #1) and only 1 game ahead of 4th/5th...and you have a nice recipe for disaster.

Don't take lal because it may be a trap. If you are a professional gambler then staying away from this game is easy. Only fools will play this game thinking about their opportunity loss if they don't. Anyway if you are still gonna play then it better be on phi+5. Its safer than taking lal but still no guarantee. Goodluck

Winning 3 straight isn't exactly HOT.  However, winning 2 straight with Bynum is in my opinion.

Are you the sameone who said the Lakers were not worried about revenging a home loss against a non conference foe in the Pacers? (If not dont worry about it) But the Lakers show up when they want to. Its our jobs if we plan to back them to see where the motivation is for them to play hard.

I see it in tomorrows game. Kobe coming back home to play against the Sixers...the same Sixers (albeit not the players) he would scrimmage with while still in highschool. The Lakers need another fine tune beatdown of a quality opponent before the Christmas Day showdown with the Heat. Very sharp line, but I'll take the Lakers at no more than -5.5

Its not a bet worth taking with so much better ones on the board. And the game is not a trap...if the Lakers were -2 or so favs then thats when you FADE them.

Unbelieveable.  The blinders you Lakers backers wear every night must be double padded because dumbfoundead just diminished the Sixers' incredible ATS streak while IGNORING the collective pile of NBA garbage the Lakers have beaten this season.  Let's review the season so far of glorious Laker triumphs and their vanquished opponent's current records:
