Is Mike D'Antoni going to be on the court shooting with the Lakers? His impact on the Lakers has been garbage so far, as expected and he comes back to New York to a team that he couldn't help with all star lineups. Saying Lakers ML is the easiest bet of the year is by far one of the stupidest things I've heard all year. Knicks are out to protect their house and to make MSG the hardest place to play in. And match ups?? Whose on Chandler? Kobe is afraid of Melo and Kidd and Felton will work the perimeter against a team who plays no defense. This game won't be close. The whole Lakers team needs to show up and Kobe needs to score over 40 its to make this happen. I'm a fan of Kobe but a fan of Knicks team as a whole, and this is a team effort that the Knicks have been able to implement into all of their games.

Mike D'Antoni will never want to show his face in NY again after tonight. And the Lakers are going to lose on Christmas as well.

You have obviously missed all the games until now. lol Totally different teams heading in opposite directions. Are we really talking about the same Laker team that lost to a Cavs team that wont make the playoffs? Or the same Knicks team that destroyed Miami without Melo in Miami? Unreal how you can say easy.

For reall!! you know Kobe was looking at the schedule ahead saving his best for this game. I dont think they win , but it will be a very close game. I'm still going for the lakers. They've shown glimpses of what they can do and if they can put it together for one night they'll be very competitive. All the pressure is on the Knicks tonight.

Lakers can't get it together for losing teams... which of course they ARE one.

                                       
                                                



They only put effort into the big games... AND THEY STILL LOSE!!!
But they do better against the spread.

Regarding this particular game however, the Lakers want to (but won't be able to) show everyone why they are still relevant. Unfortunately the Knicks are aware of this and are absolutely licking their chops.

I don't think this game will be a blowout. Thursday Night TNT with Dan Crawford leading the officiating? Call it a hunch...but I think the Lakers will manage to cover.
