I'm writing this before I change my mind about doing a writeup here again:) Real quick, reasons I like the Jazz tomorrow night:
1) They are flying to LA this afternoon. So they won't be with family for Thanksgiving and can can focus on an important game (in terms of the standings) instead being distracted by gravy, stuffing and all those good things.
2) They are coming off some ugly losses and should be focused for this game, especially as it will be on NBA TV.
3) They are the better/more talented team, even if they have not played like it. If nothing else, they'll not want to look bad in a nationally televised game.
4) Lakers are returning home from a three game road trip and coming off a couple of big/emotional wins against LBJ's ex-teams. Sure the teams were not very good, but the occasions were big because they had to go out and win those games for LBJ. And now they come home and relax with their families while the Jazz are stewing over their recent performances.
To be honest, I'll be very surprised if the Lakers don't come out a bit flat tomorrow night and the Jazz don't do what they did to the Celtics a few nights ago. But then again, this is the NBA where anything can happen.
