As much as people say they are a team of elderly men, lets not underestimate this group (look what the Spurs did this season)...

With Nash and Jamison now in the mix as well, it doesn't matter much anymore if Howard comes to L.A. or not...Metta is being kept as a solid defender and they should finally have all the scoring punch they lacked off the bench with the acquisition of Jamison...Nash will create the spacing and with Kobe, Bynum and Gasol on the floor as well this team becomes a match up nightmare for anyone...

If Kobe is deferring the ball to Nash to run the offense, then I think Lakers have an excellent shot. Still, they need to get past Spurs and OKC in the west and finally Miami Heat in the East. Lakers bigs can destroy Miami's front line. However, Lakers lack the perimeter defense with the aging Nash and backup SBlake. I think they need to get a defensive minded PG to complete the lineup.

Lakers will have a problem with Nash on Westbrook and Parker. Not sure if Nash can handle Chalmers but he's definitely dead against Lebron who takes the PG duties every now and then. We may need MWP to throw some more elbows around to get an edge!

I'm tired of Miami Heat and I really want some other team (Even Lakers at this point) to take the title away from them.

I agree, even though they only one one title, it is one too many for me :)
What Nash does for the Lakers is spread the floor, something they weren't able to do for a while and this will create the space for higher % shots...they have enough fire power to take advantage of that in Bryant, Bynum, Gasol and now Jamison...MWP is still a solid defender...I think the Lakers can be very strong this year

They will have to get through the SPURS, THUNDER AND HEAT!! GL not worth 2/1 ODDS!&#xD;&#xA;If the Heat make every 3, like they did against OKC, i wouldnt bet against them!!
