After watching how Grizzles play the roller-coaster style games to win TWolves series, plus Warriors won the game 1 without Draymond Green, I was so hyped and confidence to place a bet on Heat and Warriors both to win the series. The bet is $7000 on odd -189. Right now I am just awaked from my over hyped and confidence after GP ll has been injured. I have 3 options in my mind and I would like to seek comments from you guys
1 - Cash Out. Now it cost me 9% loss when I cash it out. 2 - Place another bet on Grizzles win the series for hedge. Right now the odd on Grizzles win the series is +260 (I understand this hedge could cause me loss too if Heat loss and Warriors win the series.) 3 - Let it ride. Trust on Warriors to win the series
What would you do and why? Thanks a lot

Warriors will beat the grizzles. You are overthinking it, I assume because you made a sizable wager that is out of your comfort zone - selection wise I think your chilling.

Bruh, GS had a horrible night of shooting in game 2. GS bring it back to the Bay and smashes Grizz for games 3 and 4. And will close out series in Memphis. Think your Heat bet is solid too. Embid might be back but who’s to say how that surgery is going to affect his shooting. Anyways GL.

Let ride tonight and then reassess. They are -300 point favs to win game three at home. If they win and you still want to hedge then getting much better odds up 2-1. Maybe even can cash out up some money (especially if Miami wins tonight too).

@Nedtan Thank you for your comment. Yes you are right, the sizable wager is one of the reasons. Another reason makes me overthinking is the Warriors' defense without GP II. They were clueless to slow Ja in Game 2. But of course it is another doubt that can Ja have monster performance consistently in next few games
@Packersfan12 Thank you for your comment. Good luck to you too
@JT_stats Thank you for your comment and much appreciate for your calculation. Miami is quiet dominants in this series so I am not worry about them. Unless they want to play against Joel and start lose some games. Hmmm...knock on wood knock on wood. Also, may I know why you set max 1/3 of my bet for hedge? Is 1/3 a rule of thumb?
@Floridasharp Thank you for your comment. Lets hope the Warriors win this
@Raider4life22 Thank you for your comment. That will be terrify everybody and it is like Jesus comes to the court saving Philly
@BGM4 Thank you for your comment and analysis. Good luck to you too . Yeah the GS shooting in game 2 was icy cold. Hopefully they will be red hot to defend their coming home court games and close it in Memphis as we wish. The Heat shouldn't be worried as they show dominance but hmmm...knock on wood knock on wood.
@jesron1269 Thank you for your comment and analysis. I think I will reassess the Warriors defense without GP II even though the Warriors are not a defense-oriented team. It is normal that there are some bad nights on offence but not on defense.

After much consideration I decided to cash out my bet. It cost me 32% loss. This is a really tough and probably dumb decision after concerning heat and thinking about 76ers on going momentum. Hopefully I can still gain back the loss with the remaining cash

Wow aren’t you nothing but class. Coming from a guy who voluntarily named himself NutinButtLove. It isn’t your entire bankroll on the line. If OP feels cashing out is best and 32% loss is an acceptable loss who are we to judge. Christ why don’t you share your special kind of love elsewhere.

I think you are probably fine with Miami winning tonight then cashing out but yes the risk you run if Philly does win you will be in a very tough spot. Good luck. I am sure it was a tough decision.

I understand your point of view. As you and I mentioned the same, the iffy part is the Heat. I withdrew my bet before the Warriors game 4. As you can see the Warriors game 4 result, they only got their first lead at 47th minutes and closed the game without Steve Kerr. Maybe the Warriors got luck and not me. Before I make it, I understand this is kind of retarded decision but I just have to take it as a lesson and move on.
@jesron1269
Thank you for your warm comment :) I was considering the scenario either the Heat lose at game 5 or the Warriors lose at game 4 (or the worst scenario when both lose at the same time) then I will be in a tough and passive spot. At the end, the Heat got a blow out win in game 5 and the Warriors got their first lead at 47th minutes and won it without Steve Kerr. Maybe the Warriors got luck and not me. Or maybe I don't understand the Heat deep enough. Anyway, good luck to you too
