it's spelled hyperbaric chamber...
look up the word hyperbole and you would get the sarcasm....
There are some suggesting that the Celtics will want to vaporize the helpless Cavaliers in the same manner that the Lakers did two weeks ago just to show everyone that they can. This kind of reasoning, I think, is asinine. In fact something closer to the opposite is true. Doc Rivers is a classy guy, and he knows that Cleveland's current predicament is a frightening one. He knows this because he's been there. Seems hard to believe, but it was only four short years ago that Rivers was coaching a Celtics team that lost 18 straight games and 22 out of 23 en route to a 24-58 record. A little over six years ago, Rivers was coaching the Orlando Magic and lost his job just 11 games into the season when the team started out 1-10. Rivers might be the last guy to pour it on against a terrible team like Cleveland. It seems even more farfetched that he'd allow this to happen to his friend, Cavs head coach Byron Scott.
Some people are figuring that if the Lakers could trounce these Cavs by 55 points, then Boston can beat them by at least 30, right? The thing is, Rivers will be mindful of the humiliation the Cavaliers suffered two weeks ago in L.A. and will probably be making moves to make sure that kind of brutality doesn't happen tonight. Celtics backers are counting on a fired up Big Three to clean house off an upset loss in their last game, but what they'll probably get is lots and lots of Avery Bradley, Semih Erden, Luke Harangody, and Von Wafer. I believe Doc Rivers will try to find a balance between being merciful upon tonight's absolutely hapless opponent and not leting his team become too sloppy or complacent. The Celtics could cover this line by accident, sure, but I just think it's a mistake to expect that Boston will have any kind of eye of the tiger in this one. I have Cleveland +17 +107 courtesy of a bad bettor at Matchbook this morning who kept accepting my crummy offer so I just kept offering more - and he kept accepting.

But they seldom do it when they're expected to, because the motivation is sorely lacking.

I've already got my mini white flag on my desk right next to me, so I'm ready for the game.

Would any one be suprised to see the Celts up 58-41 at halftime?
Or the Celts up 85-62 at the end of three qtrs.?
And then the Celtics empty the bench. Cavs win final qtr. 26-19?
Final score Boston 104 Cleveland 88?
