YTD 2-1
Not a bad first day - 2 wins and 1 loss. The Blazers went cold at the end of their game and provided me the loss.
Here are today's picks. Any comments / debate is welcome. Good luck to all.
Den -1.5 -- Denver is on the road and is coming off of a loss, but it was their first loss in some time. I see them bouncing back here. They are rested. The Grizz on the other hand have not shot well recently and played last night. Denver should be able to run the legs off of the Grizz and if they are hitting their shots, they will win easy.
Atlanta -5 -- Atlanta is on the road and have had a successful road trip. Toronto has played fairly well recently, but I don't see them keeping that streak up without Bargnani. I think the athletic Hawks will keep Toronto from scoring many points.
Bos/Cle Over 178 -- Boston has been playing great D at home but they seem to give up a few more points and score a few more on the road. Returning home the Cavs should also shoot a bit better than the teams' last meeting. Finally, with Allen back and a game under his belt the Boston O should be in better shape than in the recent past. This game should go over.
Char / LAL Under 183 -- The Lakers should win this game by a fair bit. I suspect that the second team Lakers will get lots of action in this game and frankly their second team struggles to score. Char has also not put many points on the board recently without DJ. Gotta take the under here.
