Mak's Flight Time Friday

What it is gents.  Hope you all had a great TNT Thursday.  Sorry I missed out, was so fuckin busy with work all day, hardly had time to eat let alone cap.  No complaints, love it, everyday I'm "hus a lin" :)  Went 4-0 on Wednesday bringing the run to a swaggerlicious 31-3-1.  I am very proud of this run in particular considering the fact that I have watched a scarce amount of games since I have been in Kenya.  I always thought it was imperative for me to watch games in order to succeed.  I still do.  However, I double up the research and take a different, more subtle approach to wagering and it has done me good thus far.  I really hope it continues, may extend my stay here until mid April due to business or I could be back in Canada by the end of March.  As always fellas, your boy Mak is wishing you all much Kwaheri from Kenya.  Peace out - - - MAK

ATLANTA HAWKS - 12.0 (-115) - - - Why oh why is everyone liking the Warriors (insert spinning head icon here) It baffles my mind.  At this point I even think that New Jersey has a better roster then the Golden State Warriors, and that is saying a lot.  Revenge factor is seriously in play here.  Yes I am well aware that GS defeated the Hawks just 2 weeks ago.  That loss is fresh like the prince of bell-air.  Atlanta has not forgotten about that loss.  It stung like a bitch with a bad hair day.  It stung so bad that the Hawks flew all the way from Cali to Salt Lake City the next night and surprised the Utah Jazz who were hot as hell at that point.  Atlanta was pissed primarily because they had that game won easily and lost complete focus in the 4th quarter.  They were outscored by 19 and it was actually one of the few games I was able to watch.  The first 5 minutes of the 4th were brutal, I think Atlanta thought the game was for 36 minutes not 48. Woodson was upset at his teams lack of focus.  He was quoted as saying that this team cannot be legitimate contenders with efforts like that.  The team responded with a big back to back win the night after against a stellar home squad.  To dissect that first meeting between GS and ATL further take a look at GS's roster at that time.  Despite the game only being two weeks ago, the Warriors look drastically different now.  Monta Ellis who had 25, 4 and 5 is a no go tonight.  Andris Biedrins who is a shell of his former self had a big game for GS with 13 boards, 5 assists and 2 blocks.  He also evoked lane intimidation throughout the game.  He is a no go for tonight.  Off the bench GS actually had some production with C.J Watson, with Monta sidelined he is inserted into the starting 5 so no bench production tonight. Unless you consider Reggie Williams (who?) Devean George (retire already) and Chris Hunter (who?) good players who can perform off the bench....I don't.  GS is the worst defensive team in the NBA, their last 5 have been brutal allowing teams to scorch them for nearly 112ppg.  The Hawks just dismantled the Bulls and the 76ers in their last two games by an average of 21.5 points...so is it so hard to think that they can undress the Warriors tonight? The Warriors are on their 3rd game of a 5 game road trip and just got done being raped by Orlando in a 27 point win, and that was with the Magic going a dreadful 5-21 from 3 point range...I can only imagine what the score would have been if they hit some of those long balls. The Warriors have no leader, no consistency, no defense, no presence and no identity.  In my opinion they are currently the worst roster in the NBA with a very flawed system.  ATL getting 12 or 13 is a gift.  Hawks fly high tonight in Georgia.

Yessir, thanks Bruce.  Appreciate that.  Good thing I got past posts to prove the record is legit.  Unlike those advertisers who never seem to provide proof of their magnificent runs or could easily forge em.  Good thing about Covers is the back logs.  No one can claim any fraudulent runs. 

As for the total the under is more then possible, I am thinking a 115-90 type game.  GS's offense has dipped in the last 5 as well, only problem is they could easily allow ATL to light it up and hit the 120's.  Either way I still think you are on the right side of the total.  Best of luck buddy.

Thanks homie, hope we both hit on ATL tonight.  I know the Cavs have been straight cash 1st half recently but I actually like the Pistons tonight.  Cavs always play soft on the first game of a back to back, actually have an 0-5 ATS record in this spot.  However, if your gut is tellin you to play the Cavs you should.  I like the Pistons roster way more then I should.  They just have talent comin out the wazoo and I fail to understand why they suck so monumentally.  Whenever the Stons are playing I tend to sway away from betting against them or on them.  I just cannot read this team the way I would like.  Good luck buddy.

Dino, I saw the call out on covers today.  Ahhh, didn't think Mak would notice eh?  Mak can spot Mak's name a mile away :)  Appreciate the call out.  Didn't miss much yesterday, even though I missed the games yesterday I always ask someone to tell me the spread before the score.  I would have gone for LAL, MEM and UTA yesterday but most likely gone with the Lakeshow larger for a pretty much even night.  Would have been pissed if I had gone 3-0 but since I would have broken even I don't feel too bad.  Best of luck Dino.

Mak, my main reason for the Warriors tonight is because this is a major sandwich game for the Hawks.  We know the Hawks can be inconsistent and Atlanta has a huge game tomorrow night in Miami.  I really just find it hard to see the motivation to beat the Warriors by that much (even though it's a revenge game).  Maybe I think way more into games than I should, but I see a letdown game looking forward to their meeting in Miami tomorrow night.
