TORONTO RAPTORS - 4.0 (-110) - - - It wasn't a fluke and it wasn't the Cavs. For those who watched the game it was blatantly obvious it was Toronto's defense that won the game. A very pleasant surprise. Triano did say that was what they work on all the time but then again all coaches say that. I said it prior to preseason and I will say it again, this is Bargnani's year. He is a new player and will show why he was chosen #1 overall. For the first time in maybe 2 years Jose looks healthy. He is the court general and this team will go as far as he takes em. Marco Bellinelli got his contract extended on Thursday, he and Demarr are going to fight for that 2 spot all year long. Funny thing is I think it belongs to Antoine Wright who is one of the best perimeter defenders I have seen in a Raps uni in a long time. Tonight look for Bosh and Turk to take over and lead. Marc Gasol will cause problems for Toronto but Raps have enough size to deal. I suspect O.J and Rudy to have poor shooting nights as the Raps prove that defense is emphasis. Triano and the team played off the win over the Cavs as "expected" but you could see the team was very happy and relieved. After defeating the King they will go to the home of the real King and spit swagger all over the Griz.

CLEVELAND CAVALIERS - 9.5 (-125) - - - Oh this is gonna be a whoopin. It's like a bully, gets beat up by his two older brothers then goes to school and demolishes a kid 4 grades below him. Minny is in for a treat. Cavs are pissed and will be poised to not only win, but blow em out. Honestly...I liked the way the Cavs played against the Celts and Raps. Sad to say but I did. Lebron's shot looks very fine tuned. He has worked on it quite a bit...that is dangerous and scary to think about. If he solidifies muscle memory and gets a consistent looking shot, this league is in for it. Shaq will work with this team, it won't be a bust. This team can easily pull off a 10 game winning streak like that. I believe those two losses were good for this team, they will not take anything for granted from now on. King and his Cavs cruise to a Friday night win.
8 UNITS D.WEST WITH TWO GATS - - -
ORLANDO MAGIC - 7.5 (-125) - - - Wow, all I can say is wow when I see this team. After seeing my Spurs lat night against Chicago, they looked like the same "old" team. I thought they had the best shot to win against the Lakers this year but it may actually be Boston and Orlando. Orlando is just way way too good. Do they even miss Lewis? No. All-Star stellar stud forward Lewis is not missed at all, that is how deep this team is. Jason Williams is fuckin crazy, he does not even play ball for a whole year and he comes back and looks better then a majority of PG's in the league. What a pickup Ryan Anderson was, a throw in with Carter, now he is starting at PF. This Orlando team will contend with the Knicks for most 3pt shots this season, and that is saying a lot since they hardly shoot as much 3's as NY. They are efficient and very deadly from beyond the arc. NJ was one of the worst perimeter defending teams last season and I don't see much of change tonight. Orlando blows another team out of the water.
