BOSTON CELTICS vs. WASHINGTON WIZARDS

I like the Wizards +9.5, as they have found some identity.  They have been moving the ball well in their last few games, and they weren't blown out by anyone.  They've also played the Celtics tight and won 3 of out 4.  I don't think the Wizards are as bad as their 4-15 record shows (at least at this point), and to catch 9.5 at home... I think they are a solid play.  Only question is with the trade, you have to wonder about the psyche of the players after Antonio Daniels left and Dee Brown is gone.  I don't believe Crittenden and Mike James will suit up in this one.

I am leaning Wizards.... just leaning at this point.

i will look more before games start, but Utah is always nice at home....Oden got bitch slapped by Howard last night, but I 'm not sure Utah has anyone other than Boozer who can do it.

PORTLAND TRAIL BLAZERS vs. UTAH JAZZ

I see Mehmet Okur stretching the defense in this game.  Oden and the Gorilla Pryzbilla will have to extend out far to cover him.  I think that allows more room for Deron Williams and Ronnie Brewer inside.  Blake is not gonna be able to match Williams in terms of footspeed.  However, I don't feel Williams is quite at 100% form yet.

For the Blazers, they have depth, and Aldridge had a spectacular game.  I suspect he isn't always consistent but he is solid, and Milsap and Kirilenko will likely match up with him decently well.  Brandon Roy will draw Brewer on D and that will be a contested matchup.  Their bench, with Fernandez, Outlaw, and Rodriguez, are all solid contributors and I'd give them a slight edge over the Jazz bench.

I am leaning Jazz to cover this game.  Home team has been a pretty solid bet in this series.

CHARLOTTE BOBCATS vs. DALLAS MAVERICKS

Four Maverick scorers: Dirk Nowitzki, Jason Terry, J.J. Barea, and Jason Kidd. 

Two Bobcats scorers:  Jason Richardson and D.J. Augustin.

Okay, scratch Richardson.  Scratch another big, Dudley, from the lineup.  And I would not be completely convinced after one game that Augustin can put up big numbers again.

This has the blowout written all over it... I hate the number, in fact, I hate any number above 10, but I'd have to say Mavericks in this one.

Mak all 3 are solid plays.  also look into adding Bost/Wash Und 196.5 
Wiz are on a 5 game ATS covering streak
Port 5 game ATS losing streak
Mavs 6-0-1  last 7 vs Bobcats. Plus no J. Rich, Dudley and maybe G. Wallace.

Thats a straight gamble brother, I could only make big plays on totals because they are easier. If a team is up 15 with 2 min left they will shit it away, I couldn't just watch my money walk away like that.

DAL is the play here! Your spot on about J.J. this guy has been with the team for a few years now. I saw the potential 2 years ago, but Avery Johnson didn't. We still had Devin Harris then and Avery didn't like him much either. Well look at Devin now!! And look at J.J. now!! And wheres Avery? Thats a whole different story though. Anyway, I'm a huge Dallas homer and watch all the games. J.J. IS a difference maker, Carlise has realized that and has given him more minutes to prove it. Time will tell with this guy!!

BOL mak! Im with you on the utah and dallas picks!

I, too, believe that utah can pulverize this young and deep portland team at the Energy Solutions Arena! also, utah has always been very secretive of their strategies. they once told the public that deron williams would still miss 2 more weeks, but surprise surprise! d.will was back the next game! i have a feeling that boozer will be back in action tonight!
