Oklahoma City Thunder -3.5

I'll keep on zigging and zagging in this series since that's the current pattern. Throw in the fact that this is a must win game for Thunder and I expect them to play with an added sense of urgency in this one. I liked the way Okie city finished game 3, coming back in the 2nd half and only losing by 6, after being completely dominated in the 1st half. Okie City is 3-0 ATS when trailing in a playoff series this year and 6-1 ATS over the past couple of seasons in a similar scenario. I like them to bounce-back in this one. Bookies are expecting a similar effort and the line is juiced up to account for the 'zig zag'. Even so, at less than 2 buckets I feel there's enough 'value' to grab an Okie City team that is 6-2 at home in these playoffs.

plus, the addition of haslem into the mix appears to steady the miami ship.  eight points and four boards.  that's something out of the bench.  then if bibby throws in two threes-- which he will have throughout the series, chicago's chances go down.  rose will rise, but it appears not this year to the three vets.  hope chicago proves me on.  but i'm moving over to the miaim ship.  sorry tom thibadeau.  as others have said, d rose is to chicago as labron was to cleveland (though chicago has more talent than cleveland).

After watching this series, the Bulls might be a year too early....I think next year is their year. They are on the cusp and next year all their young guys will only improve and have another year under their belts.

Boozer should go, he's not reliable in late games, never has been, just a replacement-level player who plays terrible defense. Rose got tired in 4th qtr as MIA kept blitzing the pick and roll, with very little help from the guy who sets his picks, Boozer.  They're not winning a championship with Mr. Booze, he can do the head-bop thing after he's fouled, but that's just not enough.  The fact that he ran his mouth which woke up Bosh didn't help the team either.

Why did the line open at -5 Miami only?  I really thought it would be -6 in this one... Hmmm

I actually disagree.  I felt this was their year since it was the first year that Miami's big 3 were together and Melo/Amare together, etc.  Both Knicks and Miami will just get better with time, thus I felt Bulls' best chance of getting to the finals (and potentially winning it) was this year.  Bulls would need a proven 'take the game over' type of a scorer, to win a title, and those types of players don't just grow on ANY tree.

Boozer is definitely a liability but I think he's the only 'hope' the Bulls have.  Keep him fresh, and let him work in the post in the 4th quarter.  He showed in game 3 that he could be fairly successful doing so.  I'd let Taj play majority of the 2nd quarter and the second half of the 3rd, prior to bringing Booze back in the 4th with 8 mins to go or so.  Space out Deng and Rose, and let Booze try to work in the paint with Noah crashing the boards.  At least it will be a different strategy and something that might catch the Heat off-guard a bit...

Refs let OKC back in the game in 2nd half by putting them at the free throw line every time they had the ball and Mavs still won. I will be on the Mavs tonight in a close game.

i like OKC 2nite also.  They'll shoot better this game and I think they figured out how to be a thorn in Dirks ass.  wont stop him but it will slow him down.  OKC will be playing like its game 7 2nite because they know if they lose they are done.

All it takes is one bad day to reduce the sanest man alive to lunacy

Agree 100%.  I expect Okie City to get to the line today early and often.

For sure, Gibson deserves more PT.  Taj/Noah/Asik provide enough length inside and are much more disciplined and defensive-minded players than Mr. Booze, albeit they're young/inexperienced.  Also, Brewer has done an outstanding job defending Wade, his minutes should correlate more with Wade's.  Bosh's #'s are off the charts with Booze on court,  that's the major problem in this series for CHI.
