Miami Heat @ San Antonio Spurs
This is hands down the biggest game of the year for the Spurs. The Heat knocked the Spurs out of the NBA Finals last year in Game 7 and beat them again in there first matchup this year easily. Some would think that the Spurs had all the motivation to win back on January 26th yet didn't even come close, but I beg to differ. That was a terrible spot for the Spurs. First of all, it was in Miami and they were playing with 3 of there starters missing, Danny Green, Kawhi Leonard, and Tiago Splitter. This time around, the Spurs get to play on there homecourt, with a fully healthy squad. This is the last matchup between these two teams this year and the only time the Spurs can exact there playoff revenge. I will gladly put 5 units down on Popovich and this Spurs team in what will be there most motivated game of the year. Oddsmakers also opened the Heat as +2.5 point underdogs off a loss, that is what I call bait. I'd be shocked if the Heat won this game.
Oklahoma City Thunder @ Phoenix Suns
Road teams off back-to-back double digit home victories have covered 61.8% of all games since 2010. However, that number jumps to 71.2% when facing a team that isn't playing well (off a loss). Keeping this one small as once again I find myself on the most publicly backed team of the night which I hate doing. 80%+ of all bets are on OKC today. Blehhhhhh
