Overall: 11-4
Miami played last night at Timberwolves and won 84-96 and covered their spread.
Tonight they will face Pacers that have been playing good lateley with a win away against Detroit and taking the Celtics at home.
Now they have one day more rest than Miami and they are looking for a 3-3 record.
What gets my attention is Miamis Team Total of 99 points.
9 times of 44 games in Indiana they have managed to do more and not once in their last 10 games there.
Miami average 98.6 forward and Pacers average 99 points back. So the number is set around their averages. But we have to think about some other factors that can affect the outcome of the points for Miami.
They played yesterday and won with 96 points against Timberwolves. Their legs are not rested as Pacers right now even if its only one day.
Pacers are really strong at home against Heat. 41-9 record. This means that it will not be easy for Heat tonight.
Pacers are looking for 3-3 and 3 straight wins. This means that Heat will not get anything for free tonight. Pacers have momentum now from their two latest victories, seeking their third.
Its their first (1/10) Hickory night for Pacers, so they will wear their NBA Pride Hickory uniforms and make some other special things as a season long-tribute to Indiana Basketball. So they will probably have some more fire from that. Who wanna perform bad on a special day when you are going to play for your states special tribute game?
George stepped up last game and will be hot this game.
Well, there are some downsides too.
Wade have been on fire in the start of the season and he have been playing good in Indiana. Count with him bringing in some fire.
Mahinmi and Miles are questionable for Pacers.
I believe that Miami will go under their Total and that is what I will play. I will also go for Pacers here to win. Even if they have Mahinmi and Miles questionable, I think they will be the better team tonight. I see a 98-94 type of game.
