Fellas...I know this is an NBA thread, but here goes:
Blackhawks (-110) @ St. Louie
No doubt that the Blues will be up for this one - much like the previous 19 opponents - hence, the short line. However, this play is all about the Hawks. As long as they bring their "A" game, there's no team in the league that can match up with them right now. Coach Q has this team motivated and on a mission. Hawks are 4 lines deep and play a relentless pressure game in all three zones. Q has no reservation in matching up his 4th line against opponents' 1st which speaks volumes as to the depth of this squad. Further, I suspect there will be a large contingency of Hawks' fans in attendance as StL is a modest roadie down I-55...meaning, I give very little home ice advantage to the Blues where they are a pedestrian 4-4-1 anyway. Also note that StL's leading scorer (Steen) has been declared out for this evening which is a big deal in the NHL.
While I had originally circled this game as the potential streak-ender a few days ago, I since feel confident that the Hawks will, indeed, get this one tonight...all things considered. That being said, tail at your own risk as Jaroslav Halak is a very worthy goaltender who could be the difference with a big effort

you KNOW we'll be here.... i think i like the chicago over FG best of all...
Pig....talk radio here in Chi-Town has been all about how messed up the Bulls are right now and how distracting the uncertainty of D-Rose's return is becoming. How that affects the total is anybody's guess but it is a very low number

I'm 15-5 riding my boys to date (lost a couple of puck lines) and will continue to ride them...especially at this price. At the same time, I know this streak is going to end sometime and won't be shocked when it does...just hope it isn't tonight with you on board, my friend

Yeah, the PL looks tasty but I've learned my lesson as the Hawks are winning a lot of 1 goal games...especially in OT - when the PL is obviously screwed.

You may be right, Pho, and wouldn't surprise me assuming they bring something less than their "A" game or Halak comes up big
