SA: Standard Adjustment.
You look at the line and you adjust it by 6 points (subtract 3 for 'their' home court and add 3 to yours). Just an easy and rough way to convert the line from one home court to another

It just tells me how intelligent you are Bodio, you just want to see how the teams react on the first few games before you start to play,
Not sure that's necessary intelligence, but it doesn't hurt to get a feel for the teams first prior to making plays.
My leans today were: Tigers +135, Brewers +103, and Giants +100 . The first 2 are already in progress/finished (1-1 most likely) but the Giants is sill out there. Would have liked that one much more if their closer was available for this one. Still undecided there...

Bodio - thanks again for the great write-up.
One factual correction. Dallas doesn't own the tiebreaker if they win tonight. The first tiebreaker isn't head-to-head but division winner. So Lakers actually have the tiebreaker.
That's only if there's a tie. If Dallas has a better record, they're the #2 seed.
Really? Didn't know that. i thought first tie-breaker was the H2H record. But it makes sense to have a division winner ahead I guess. Thank you for clarifying.
Even so, it's still a big game for both squads..
