I'm backing the Lakers here. This was a difficult bet to make considering how powerful a situation Orlando is in tonight, playing Game 3 at home down 0-2 in the series. So you know they're going to put their best foot forward no matter what. But, if the Lakers can withstand the initial emotional onslaught from the desperate Magic, I think they could be alright. They just need to hang around, hang around and be within striking distance (6-12 pts.) going into the fourth quarter. From there, Kobe could potentially takeover as the closer with some big shots. There's a serious possibility of the Lakers allowing the game to get away from them early as Orlando's energy is simply too overwhelming. I'm willing to take that risk though.
What makes the Lakers a dangerous play tonight is their track record in situations just like this where they simply do not show up at all. Of course who could forget the two horrendous mail-ins against the Rockets. Right now though, the Lakers can almost feel the Larry O'Brien Trophy. They're so close to that coveted ring that Kobe has been longing for. L.A. can see the finish line at this point as the spoils of victory await them. The Lakers worked all year long to get to this very point. Everything they did was done with the intention of being in this exact position. So now that they're right where they wanted/expected/envisioned being, why would they start clowning around? I know this sounds gay, but when you're climbing a mountain and your almost at the top, you don't walk the rest of the way. You run up there and then start pounding your chest. Even that goofy, candy addicted space cadet Lamar Odom is clearly locked in right now. If he's playing with focus and consistency that indicates to me this team is ultra damn serious.
Momentum can turn on a dime in this series, especially with the 2-3-2 format. Why leave anything to chance? I'm looking for the Lakers to steal the game late tonight with Kobe delivering some of his usual outbursts of brilliance. If that doesn't happen and the Lakers completely mail it in and get smoked, I'll just sit there and laugh at them.

I can see what you're getting to: something happened before Game 6 in Denver and they haven't stopped playing defense and Lamar is stuck in high end Lamar. I'm laying off the game because I'm making a nice sum on my series bet, but I'm with you, I think Dwight has another shitty night and Kobe does, indeed, go off.

I am thinking this is the prime spot to take the adjusted line at LA -3.5 +240, the +4 and the ML also with the +4 the biggest play followed by the ML than the adjusted...

On the Lakers +4 also.

GL tonight buddy...I will not say what I wagered tonight, but, it was a 1st Half play. I will say this: I'm expecting a Magic victory tonight, so, if the Lakers pull it off it will be a VERY pleasant surprise!
GO LAKERS!!!!!!!!!

There's tons of stats/reasons to support backing either team tonight, so there's no sense in arguing about it at this point. Whatever happens will happen.

That's how look at it. Stats and trends are great, but how is the team your betting on going to perform along with the team your fading and vice versa. Also, there is so much luck involved especially with how sharp these odds makers have been. For example, in the last game Orlando ML backers and Laker ATS backers both had reason to complain. How crazy does that sound. Obviosly if Lee makes that shot Orlando wins. And if Lewis doesn't make that three or if Hedo ends up fouling in the final seconds LAL would likely cover. This game is crazy...just hope your on the right side of that lucky break.

I'm expecting either a complete Magic domination where they come out so pumped up, take a big lead early, and then never look back. Or, the Magic will have small leads throughout the game until Kobe burns them with some crushing fourth quarter daggers. I don't think there will any outcome other than those two I just stated, there's no in between here IMO. In you're taking the Lakers you should probably just go ML, but I'm a wuss so I'll take the points in case Rashard Lewis hits one of his patented corner 3's in the dying seconds.

Have you posted anything besides the adjusted line today? Everywhere I look it is all you say. What are you getting out of posting in every thread? Are you getting commission or something?
