70-80% of the public is on Boston and the line hasn't budged. Sharp money is sure to be on Orlando. Vegas thinks Orlando is gonna win this game and the series judging by this Game 5 line and the series price.
 
But here's the thing...

YOU GUYS ALL BETTER TAKE A LONG HARD LOOK AT THE FACTS HERE. I HAVE BEEN A CELTICS FAN FOREVER AND A VERY PROFITABLE GAMBLER FOR SLIGHTLY LESS THAN FOREVER........ BUT.......

WAKE UP!!!! These are not your father's or your Grandpa's Celtics. NO K-G, NO POWE, (NO POSEY OR PJ BROWN FROM LAST YEAR'S TEAM) AND NO NEW ADDITIONS WITH ANY POSITIVE CONTRIBUTIONS!!

If I have to watch Ray Allen or Rondo lose the ball 1 more time in The open court or see Rondo shoot another jumper or brick free throwI am going to throw up.

Rashard Lewis can score 30 on Scalabrine or anyone else who gaurds him, Big Baby and Perkins will have 3 fouls each against Howard in the first quarter and now your hopes rest on Eddie House and the Hot/Cold Paul Pierce.

BOTTOM LINE - ORLANDO EVEN MONEY AT THIS POINT IN THE SERIES IS A JOKE AND YOU ALL ARE THE BUTT OF IT. TAKE THEM TONIGHT +120 AND ENJOY THE CASH AS WELL.

I AM NOT TRYING TO BE RUDE,  ACTUALLY I WANT EVERYONE TO WIN. I JUST WANTED TO GIVE MY THOUGHTS.

i'm with you Jon... been with you the whole series...
 
Boston (-110) to win the series before game 1...
Boston (+200) to win the series before game 2...
Boston (+295) to win the series before game 4...
(overall series price for me is +180 if you average out my bets)
 
this Vegas line (and series line) are telling us that the sharp money is not only taking Orlando now, but has been on it all series...
 
 
here is one tidbit people aren't considering about this line...
 
 
Vegas has been throwing value at the Boston bettors this whole series... basically, they made a big bet on Orlando taking this series... so now that Boston has homecourt back, why is the line not Boston (-160) or so?  well... because Vegas would be REALLY FUCKING STUPID to give all those people like me a juicy fucking middle like that...
 
so they've stuck to their guns, which is smart... they are better off leaving Orlando as a small favorite or pick-em... otherwise, Boston could lose this game and then win game 6 and they would just end up taking it up the ass with people having both teams as big dogs multiple times...
 
 
this "adjusted" series line is about one thing... the books feel they've taken enough money on the series, and they don't want to give anyone anything too appetizing anymore...
 
 
bottom line on this game: the line is short because Orlando is expected to come out firing on all cylinders and probably have the lead at halftime... but Boston in the 2nd half will be way too much for Orlando...
 
series should be over after game 6... Boston takes it!

the Celtics have yet to get a C+ or better game out of both Pierce and Allen in the same game in this series...
 
this is game 5, a pivotal game in the garden... i'll bet dollars to donuts that both Pierce and Allen come to play this game, and that spells big trouble for the Magic...

That might be because they're both in their 30s with a ton of mileage on them this season.  Allen is coming off a 47-minute effort on Sunday.  He seems to have boundless energy, but how does he come up with a great game here?

are people still saying the Celtics are too old?  isn't that the reason they were supposed to get their ass kicked by the Lakers last year?  and why they weren't supposed to get past the Pistons after playing two 7-game series?

I dunno, maybe because Ray Allen is a 33-year old guard who just logged 47 minutes two days ago.  That might be a reason.

Well, you're the one who pointed out that the Celtics have been unable to get anything better than a "C+ game" out of Pierce and Allen in the same game during this series.
