BiggDogg Miami will not lay down dead, with that said my initial thoughts was Miami are just not ready to go deep into the playoffs with such a young inexperienced squad but if Wade wills himself and this team anything can happen. BOL i'm also pulling for my Heat squad.
CHI/BOS OVER 98.5 2Q

IF spurs is up by a large lead by the Half i might not bet the OVER for 2H as we know they clamp down Defense in this situation, we'll see how it goes, pretty high scoring 1Q.

The young, playoff inexperienced Heat squad didn't quite know what hit 'em!!! That inexperience most def was exposed and they played just like a "young, inexperienced" team. Wade was ready spite of his turn overs in the 1H but still managed to score 17 pts & seemed to be on his way to a 30+ game but.............
.................start of 2Q they were only down by 3 pts, they sat Wade down to begin the Q & the deficit grew. Before that even occured i told my wife "why are they sitting Wade down & allowing this young inexperienced team run the floor, the lead expands and it could be over". As predicted Miami minus Wade fell apart and had no body who could score and make things happen & the lead grew & grew. By 2H the lead was so big they were forced to play catch up against a good defensive crew & they fell apart - in a big way with 7 pts in the 4th It was really hurt to watch!!
Defense suffocated Miami to the point they were lost, had no ball movement and in turn shot a poor % which lead to Wade almost scoreless for an entire half. No Heat player could penetrate the paint for drives apart from the few Wade slashes and dunks.Apart from Beasley nobody else stepped up & scored. Miami's Defense in turn fell apart and no offense + no defense = blowout.
The Upside:
Miami's young & inexperienced players have finally played their first playoff game & was exposed to it's intensity & atmosphere. They know what to expect in game 2. All season i have been backing Miami after these sort of horrible losses as they are one of the top teams in the league @ responding after losses. They will make adjustments just depends on how well they execute. Their leader Wade will not allow his team to go down like they did in game 1 without a fight - it cannot get any worse than game 1. The way they respond to that horrible loss is key in game 2 for the rest of this series for Miami.
The Downers:
Wade will have to play heavy minutes, can also be a good thing but will give Wade tired legs as games go by. Wade is the heart of this team, no more sitting Wade down when they are down at the start of quarters. If J.O. continues to be a non factor on the boards they will keep getting dominated in the paint. If Haslem continues to be a non factor on the boards and offense Miami willl suffer, Haslem is a vital player for Miami, his the quite achiever who gets his hustle on. Cook is obviously hurt, he is not himself. Stats indicate when he scores points Miami wins games but it seems he is a non factor and has been for some time. No one is stepping up on offense and if they continue to play that sort of defense they will be doomed. Defense is the only way they can win games.
Conclusion:
I predict Miami's defense to step up. They will make the neccessary adjustments and Defense will be one of them. Defense is key here. Hawks has momentum here and to add they have their crowd on their side cheering them on so they must shut down some of these players. Adjust, Adjust, Adjust.........Miami may have looked bewildered in game 1 but they still know how to play this game of basketball. They respond well to losses and game 2 may be another one of those games were they try to gain back some dignity and pride!!!!
I will be leaning the UNDER for this game as well as taking the points for Miami.

Hunch here wincows. I don't think a team like the Blazers who are 22-4 SU @ home vs the West will allow the Rocks to embarrass them again. They will make the necessary adjustments, especially on Yao!! Defense will be the focus in this game.
