Well gentlemen i do believe the Thunder were the Lakers toughest foes in the West. The youngens played them tough & got them ready to take out the west. Orlando are also my pick to take out the East. IMO if Stern & the refs don't interfere they should defeat the Cavs in the ECF.

There was something really funny about yesterdays game 5 of the Cavs/Celtics series. I've been watching the NBA since 1985 & i chalk that game up as another of those rare "weird" games. James did not seem to care, he looked uninspired it was visibly evident. Something was up.

"His tone and body language on and off the floor in Game 5 were puzzling for Clevelanders, who have rarely seen him in anything but in assault-the-rim mode." - nba.com

It was a significant game and he was a non-factor. This game was huge yet even after a 30 pt blow out loss post game he did not seem fazed stating things like he wasn't disappointed with his play and that he spoils us with his play and when his off it's shocking. It's words coming out of someone who all season long looked hungry for a ring he so desperately wants. Lebron usually shows some passion & desire yet in one of the biggest games in his career he just seemed calm and dismissive!?!?!?!?!?!?!?! very un-Lebron like and it's all just very strange.



Well ladies & gents i'm going to go the conspiracy route here. I saw it with my owns eyes, the same eyes that has seen many nba games from the days of Spud Web, Wilkins,  kobe to Wade and what i saw was strange. I think Stern is pushing for a game 7 and to me this series smells fishy. I don't usually bother with conspiracies when capping games but last night just has me boggled and leads me in this direction.

Everybody is all over Lebrons case, the media is having a field day questioning his desire in turn doubting wether the Cavs can win this series. Because of this the public are on Boston for game 6. Seems to me everything is going Stern & Vegas way so right now i am liking Cleveland to win game 6 and take it back home for a game 7. This series is mad suspect and i'm going to go with the play that corresponds to this............

I agree. I said I was going to take Cleveland in the next game, if Boston pulled off a miracle win in Cleveland. That game is definitely one of the weird ones. It's right up there with the game that Kobe played where he didn't want to score. Lol.

Anyway, I'm with you.

One of the best posts I have read. I was leaning Celts, but when you really think about it - all the bashing - all the letdown talk - all the hype of the C's now - homecourt advantage - 32 point blowout - elbow injury - no passion or desire - no game 7 in the playoffs thus far. The puzzle all points to a Cav win. I do believe I am going to flipflop here and go Cavs + that was my first instinctive thought before it got deluted by the board

Public on Boston most def adds to the play as the criticism and doubt has everyone jumping on the Celtics wagon.

I also never got caught up into the whole elbow thing, i think that's just Lebron copping out again as a way to lay blame on anything but himself. His elbow is perfectly fine!

Lebron just seemed too calm about the whole situation, it's almost as if he knows something we don't. I smell a rat.
