nothing changes gents. Boston were screwed for 3 seasons during the
Miami Big 3 era. The calls they were getting were ridiculous. The worst
thing was they had a great chance to knock off Miami in the playoffs.
but imagine Lebron, Wade & Bosh not in the NBA finals!!! It would
have been a complete fail for the league....... .........and now
Pierce & Garnette are on a different team but the same BS. It's only
(t)Ray(tor) Allen from that Boston squad who managed to worm his way to
his foes and sleeping w/ the enemy.
Pierce has always played
Lebron tough, always has been very physical w/ him and been a nightmare
for Lebron. Lebrons always had it tough playing against Boston &
Pierce. but now that he's been handed all these undeserved
championships, along w/ all these calls he has had the best of Pierce.
At the end of Pierce career people must understand he's been short
handed by the league all because they want their darling to keep
advancing, shining and dominating for revenues and ratings.

" i wouldn't be surprised they give game 6 to Clips to make up the robbery and then the league has their game 7 ratings bonanza."
quote from me, from my thread. Leaning Clippers game 6. plus imagine the anger from the Clips squad after being robbed. they will come out firing in this next game. Imagine the ratings for a game 7!!!!! it would be bonkers.
as i stated this is a make up game for ref stupidity in game 5 and robbing CLippers out of that win.......a game 7 will be HUGE for the league!
OKC 15 PF's - LAC 8 LAC 17 FT's - OKC 8
We'll prob see more of the same favouring calls for Clips in the 2h

Yes i understand i have to put in a ridiculous amount to receive little. I'm a record/cassette tape collector so every penny counts
Leaning:
Ind +2.5
I can't see how Indiana can take out Miami & head to the NBA finals. Could you imagine Indiana facing either the Spurs or OKC in the finals? They would get done in 5 by both teams. OKC who are hungry & even more determined after losing out to Miami 2 seasons ago in 5 games & then losing Westbrook last season. And Spurs who almost had it just last year until Ray Allen put a dagger into the heart of that squad. It would be such a disaster for the league like the Spurs vs Cleveland Finals.
........But before all that they first they have to try & climb the impossible mountain that is Lebron & the officiating love we will continue to witness all throughout these playoffs. How do you overcome that? plus have to deal with Bosh, Wade & Ray Allen & Miami's deep bench. Indiana will have to play a complete flawless game. West will have to shine every night as well as George. Their bench will have to step up big time also. I just can't see any of this happen consistently. I just can't understand how some here actually thinks Indiana will actually have any chance! Even if Indiana played at their very best every game do you really think the NBA will allow the face of their league, along w/ Wade & Bosh to lose and not make the finals and lose out in all the revenues and ratings? hell nooooooo.......
........but for the regular protocol of extending series like they like to do in order for this to go at least 5 games they gotta make it out as if Indiana has a chance of hope. So Indiana taking this 1st game will allow this to happen. If they lose this first game, on their home court imagine the battering on their confidence, wich is already shaky to begin with after the Hawks & Washington both gave them troubles. & this wont be good for the series moving further.

Placed just a minimal amount for a good return. May continue to sprinkle more as the series goes on. Will put on more also if they do make the finals - i'm sure they will be dogs vs Miami. I just have a feeling that before Duncan & Parker retire the league wants to send them off in a legendary way by taking their final Championship. Makes for a great story for players who stuck it out w/ the same team season in and season out defeating a team who took the short cut route and bought their championships. Puts some balance back into the league. Obviously this is what the league wanted last season before that Ray Allen 3. Boy was a deceived when they put on Crawford for that game 6.
Series price is just too low atm for me to put a hefty amount on Spurs vs Thunder. If OKC go up in the series i'm sure their odds will be lower and i'll prob sprinkle a little.

Alright, well it looks like Scott Foster is reffing this game 1 of Indy/Miami series. Hate that he is assigned for this game because this guy usually has a hard on for Miami. He's usually assigned to games where it's a must win for the Heat, w/ them usually coming out covering & winning su. Saying that he is more whistle friendly w/ the Heat in the NBA finals. He reffed that game 2 in last seasons Miami/Indy Conference Finals along with Bill Kennedy, who is also reffing today, in wich Indiana won by 4pts in Miami. To take it back to the 2012 Semi Conference Finals Foster reffed game 1 where Miami won @ home ......
.......These refs combined tonight are only a combined 23-24 in small favor of the road fave.
Here's what i wrote last season, but during the NBA playoffs:
"Foster
is the one you gotta look out for he is whistle happy especially w/ techs.
he was d1 who gave those horrible techs against bulls in game 2 vs miami
& chucked noah out d game (miami won game 2). he also reffed game 2
in indy/miami series & gave those questionable techs against
indiana (miami won game 2). Joe Crawford/Mike Callahan/Scott Foster were
the 3 refs who officiated game 7 in last playoffs boston/miami game 7.
they merely replaced crawford w/ another crook.....but will be the same
result."
^^^^And indeed in that particular game i wrote that in context to Miami indeed won that game (Miami vs Spurs 2013 NBA Finals.
note: In that 2012 game 1 where Foster reff'd the game total result was 181 & last year in game 2 the total result was 190. Game 1 of last yrs ECF before OT landed on 184
