YTD (NBA): 143-96-3 ATS (BIG PLAY!!!: 39-21 ATS)
I live by the sword and die by the sword. The two big plays lost last night and so I had an upside down evening and am still trying to get my head above water after a rough week. First one in over a month but still, trying not to over reach. Tonight will be a big bounce back though some injury concerns and some teams still sleep walking after the ASB. I might lay off some of those squads but here is what I am playing for tonight:
OVER 225 (MEMPHIS/ORLANDO)...BIG PLAY!!!: I don't usually run it back but in this case I am. These teams tend to score quite a bit when they play and Memphis is going to be playing like Memphis does. I don't expect them to also go to sleep in the 2nd half tonight as they did last night. Both teams already have a game under their belt and the Grizzlies are going to fight until the bitter end. The total is low for a team that has destroyed OVERS this year and, on the road, they are 21-7 to the OVER, so I just can't not say show me you can't get OVER on two straight nights.
SAN ANTONIO (+4)...BIG PLAY!!!: That's right, fool me once, shame on you, fool me twice, shame on me. I wont' be fooled tonight, the Spurs are every bit motivated to show that they are not all about Wemby. His presence will be missed but the Pistons are not very good when going to SA, going 3-9 ATS and 0-6 ATS over those past affairs. I think the Spurs will take this one outright but I like getting the 4 points even if the Pistons will have more talent on the floor tonight.
DALLAS (-5.5): Again, a motivated team with something to prove. While on the other hand, the Pelicans have nothing in the tank, really actually tanking for a top pick. The 5.5 points is nothing given how inept I think the Pelicans are especially now that Javontae Green has also darted. Not that he's a big difference maker, but for a team that lacks depth and size, he is a big reason I feel the Mavs cover this on the FT's late in what should be a high scoring game.
GOLDEN STATE (-2)...BIG PLAY!!!: I'm all in on the new Warriors, even Curry looks more determined and Draymond is healthy. With Butler also on the floor and a trend where they are 5-1 ATS in the past 6 played in Sacramento, I think this line is a gift being it's just a basket. I do think both teams will score plenty so don't expect the Kings to roll over, but I just don't think they will get it done at the end of the night.
That will be all for tonight. Three solid big plays and not because I am chasing units. I just feel as though I will have a strong showing otherwise will be resetting at the turn of next week. But I don't' see that taking place and, with that, tail or fade, good luck to all..
