NETS CELTS GAME 2 - discussion

Have a strong lean but have not finalized my play yet. Curious to hear thoughts from covers on this huge, huge game, especially for the Nets, tomorrow.

line is Boston -3.5

What makes it tricky is this is probably the highest rated series and the NBA would love nothing better than seeing it go 7. The only way that happens is a split in Boston. I can’t see Celtics losing both in Brooklyn because their is no home advantage in that building and Celtics are great on the road and Nets are mediocre at home. But if I could rule out funny business then I’d say Celtics. 

Nets will win both games at home.. not a must win for the Nets.. 

 short line.......there will be funny business, and shenanigans for that matter............

If I’m Nash. I wouldn’t play Drummond at all.

I would start Aldridge and bring Blake in off the bench. Nets need a 3rd guy to contribute 17-20 points in order to win this game.

Sadly I’ve also seen enough of Dragic also. He’s taken a few tumbles in the wash machine and looks cooked. Unfortunately he will have to get minutes. You just hope he starts contributing more in other ways. 

You need to identify your 8 guys and stick to it.

Kyrie, KD, Patty Mills, Claxton, Brown; Aldridge, Griffin, Dragic.

Crunch time line up. Irving, Mills, Brown, KD, Claxton or Aldridge.

Agreed. Could be a mother 101-99 type game with a minute left. Late FT’s decide the cover.

I like Nets +3.5.....Celtics win in a nail-biter....

For starters it’s not the east coast prime time game (Raps) so it will be a officiated fair..

Tatum will be the best player on the Court.. DPOY smart and Brown are lock down players.. home court..better defense team… keep betting the nets.. so line goes down to -3…

 You lost me when you said Tatum was the best player on the court. They maybeeee win tomorrow but KD will have the last word. I’ll take them +275 for the series fuck it

KD points scored total over seems to be a value play.

Nets still have issues on defense and couldn’t put a game away because of it. Tatum should of never had that layup at the end. 

Drummond is a liability on both ends of the courts and can’t move anymore. They’re gonna have to continue to run claxton at the 5 and hope he continues to develop and get better as the series goes.

also Seth curry and patty mills are gonna have to hit some big shots for the nets but I expect the Celtics to come out and trying to knock them out in the first half.

All this talk about Tatum and KD but people keep sleeping on Irving. He’s gonna continue to be a problem for the Celtics. ‘Lock down’ defenders didn’t seem to slow him down. I think KD has a better game and Nets take game 2.

 Drummond played great in the first half and disappeared 

durrant had bad game in game 1. Dont over think this. Nets+3.5 is the play

this series is a no bet for me.

I say this because the amount of national attention revolving the series due to the superstars playing on both teams.

Everyone and their mother will be on this so it's no play for me.

I am loving Kyrie to have a massive game though. This guy is right now at the peak of his powers and I can see him going off for another 35-40 points. In fact, if it's a close game, just give him the ball in the final minutes and he will do the rest.

Take Durant assists over.

Did you watch the end of G1?  That's what they tried to do, but the C's locked Kyrie up and he threw it to KD in a bad spot with no time left so KD took a bad shot.  And then they were in scramble defense, but they're so bad on D they gave up an uncontested layup.

Great game plan coach! Worked so well last time. 

Hence why I love the play even more.

Take Kyrie over in points and watch him finish this game off as he should have game 1.

I'm leaning towards Celtics -3.5. Kyrie was on in game one but don't think he going to repeat this performance.
