New Orleans Pelicans @ Golden State Warriors
The Pelicans played the Warriors three times last year. The Warriors went 3-0 winning by 1, 11, and 10 but let’s take a closer look at how those games played out.
The first game the Pelicans lost at the last second by 1 point. The other two games, Eric Gordon shot a combined 4-26 (15%), Tyreke Evans missed 1 game due to a high ankle sprain, and Anthony Davis was inactive in the other game. David Lee from GS was also responsible for 62 points in those 3 games. Tyreke Evans and Anthony Davis will both be active in this game while David Lee is inactive for the Warriors. Eric Gordon is out for the Pelicans, but it’s not like his 4-26 shooting will be missed and it’s hard to see any other Pelican shooting that poorly. Big differences all around from the 3 games that were played last year. This game should be a lot closer against a more experienced, underrated Pelican squad.
