Vegas lost some money here but they win huge money on ORL/DET game. It was a perfect day to stay out... but this is gambling

What an awful game to go against "Vegas" First of all OKC(to cover) was the public bet here(although not huge) so I don't know what the hell OP is talking about. Vegas won.

Lol, It seems someone is mad they lost money they couldn't afford to lose or else it wouldn't be a big deal.

HUGE money somewhere in the world were placed on CHA (+9). In that moment "public money" was 70/30. The line colapsed  - CHA (+7.5). Before TO "public money" was 55/45 on CHA +. Vegas lose against "the public" in CHA / OKC but they clean up all money in ORL / DET and SAC / MIA.
In Europe we have "syndicate" that are composed by millions of gamblers...

Prestige do you consider that simply the better team being laid huge negative spread could affect into public to go against them causing this "shift" on consensus would have any effect on this "Vegas syndrome"? 

Also shouldn't "Vegas" be more concerned on the amount of money being laid in the game instead of singular event volatility on public consensus?

The way I see it is that guys in Vegas lay the odds based on their analysis of the games based on decades of experience and really powerful system based and team performance and shift these odds based on the actual monetal volatility to keep the money as close as possible to 50/50. After that it's a coinflip to them.

Wouldn't it be more effective to manipulate the public money by faking the spreads (for example give heat +3 on yesterdays game) and then shift the lines if public doesnt fall for that? 

Just my 5 cents and BOL from this "european syndicate".
