First game of the season where Orl pushed for over 230 points to be scored. Against the greatest FT shooter ever. Make it make sense??
@mtx
Nope. Sport betting never make any sense. 76er Team Total 116.5 and they scored 110 with 9 minutes left. Ended with 110. Scored zero point in 9 minute. Does that make any sense to you? 5 guys making million of dollar and can’t score a single point?

They were up 30 at the time and cleared the bench. Granted, even guys at the bottom of an NBA roster should be able to score a point in 8 minutes (it was actually 8 scoreless minutes) but looking at some of the names getting shots off, I'm not shocked.

Should've been 24 points. Three missed free throws.

that’s brutal. Tt at 116.5.
73 pts in fh, 37 in 2h, 12 pts in 4th q, their last bucket was made in 8:11 mark in 4th q.

There's a difference between trying to score and missing, and trying to run up a total in a meaningless regular season game. Why doesn't every team foul excessively when down 7? 99% of time guys don't care and just dribble clock out or take bad shots or give up. But fouling?? That's the coaches call. And it only happens in playoffs usually.

They no longer play for entertainment, that's the 2nd reason they play for, the 1st reason they play for is for gambling purposes i.e. sports betting.

Again. No difference. My point was to tell you that they can score or won’t score at will. 7 points is still a fighting chance for some miss free throw. Look at last Sunday game between Washington and Atlanta. Washington was down 15 points with 2:30 left. 120-105. Total 253. They played foul game until 256 final. They scored a whooping 31 points in a blow out game. It’s all in the script. You just have to be on the right side
