Personally I feel it doesn't matter how many games he plays...so long as he feels he has a +ve EV on each and every one of the bets he make...

It would only be wrong if he craves the action and are making bets just for the sake of it....which I don't think is the case here...
otherwise it doesn't matter if he makes 0 plays a day (if he cant find anything of value) or 20 plays....
