I think they would if they knew the whole story. It is a long enough story that I could write a book about it. I would be willing to tell you but I would prefer to do it privately though.
I also have the ability to make a good investment for someone who might be willing to sponsor me in poker...and I would give you my word that you would get back a % of my winnings. Or we could even draw up a contract and meet in person if you wished. I live in Las Vegas, so I am here all of the time. This is where I plan to play professionally again.
I can "prove" myself in poker by showing you my online results. I know online is different than real cards, but it all boils down to the same things- Being able to read people, not letting people read you, and patience.
Patience is the number 1 thing when it comes to poker. I have an extreme amount of patience, I have been told by other players they've never seen anyone as patient before. If you can win online, you can win in real cards.
I know from experience, as I was sponsored back in 2008...I won the final table tour championship tournament, (finished 3rd place)...and then SOON after that...the company goes out of business, so I was never able to play and make money with them.(This is part of the tragic story that I'm living)
Because of my situation I am unable to play poker for real money at the current time. And I've never been able to join the WSOP like I've been planning. Because in my life, it's been one obstacle after the next...so i've never been able to get ahead. I've never had a large bankroll so when I bet on sports, it's always parlays.
I could go 7-1 in one night but I win nothing. Because that one loss messes up my ticket. I do hit big parlays every so often, just hit a 10 teamer last year, but if you knew how much I bet on it, you would laugh at me. ($2) That is my problem, is that I've never had good MM or a large enough bank to take it seriously.

I am fully willing to prove myself beyond any doubt that I am a good investment. I understand proof will be needed, because why would anyone take someone's word for it. Especially someone who is broke.
People always say to me "Why are you broke if you're so good?" And that is the long story.
I will let you watch me play for as long as you need to feel comfortable beforehand. If you've ever seen Daniel Negraneu play, I am about as good as him, maybe a little bit better.
I can go into a tourney and guarantee a win and get it. That's how good I am. Poker is not a game of luck. It's mostly skill. If it was about luck I'd never be able to win, because my luck isn't good.
