"I could go 7-1 in one night but I win nothing. Because that one loss messes up my ticket. I do hit big parlays every so often, just hit a 10 teamer last year, but if you knew how much I bet on it, you would laugh at me. ($2) That is my problem, is that I've never had good MM or a large enough bank to take it seriously"
mgm, start with $50, play a ml dog or 2 team parlay. go "all in" 4 days in a row and you will have a bank over $2000. I do this regularly.

I hear ya brother. That's what I've been trying to do as well
Except I am not fortunate enough to even risk $50 a game now.
I am betting $10 on 4 teamer, and take the winnings and put on another 4 teamer..
That is $1600 from $10 for winning two 4 teamers in a row
Or I could do 2 teams for 4 days, I dont have to bet everyday. I can wait for solid games and this will work. But I've been having some really bad fluke losses lately
Was up 9 in the 4th quarter twice in one week, lost my parlay by one game. (The team who was up 9 in the 4th)
If I told the whole story, you'd be in shock. My luck has been out of this world....but things happen for a reason. So I have changed my mind set....it's the negative mind set which gets you

why dont you just save from work and then do your poker thing mgmprofits.
i dont think anyone gonna do this because in reality poker is not an investment.
there needs to be guarantees because the risk is great for someone who is willing back you.
do you have people who you are close to, that are willing to sign and guarantee payment plus interest in the event for what ever reason you lose the money?
it will likely take something like that for someone to give money for something like this if they are willing. that maybe you have 3 people that have adequate income that are willing to sign that in the event you cant pay back the money say within 6 months on a short term loan like that they will pay it back.
the simplest way is to just work and save, or ask money from family, maybe if you talk to your family they be willing to loan you the money for it. they know you best, and more likely to do it.

the only other option mgmprofits is go to a bank or lender and get a line of credit for 6 months. if everything checks out on income and credit they give you the line of credit for what you can qualify for.
if you believe you can win then that is probably fastest way, other than asking family for it.
end of the day might be better to just save it.
i dont recommend you withdraw on credit card though. i withdrew money on creditcard once and it was insane interest. so dont do that.

Well I have health issues which prevent me from working a normal job. If I wasn't afraid of doctors I could get disability for sure. But I know the doctor "treatments" end up killing you in the long run.
I can't risk that. I do what works for me. So i can't get any loans. If i could i would...believe me. I became desperate enough to have to ask strangers online for money. lol
As for parlays....for me they work for long term profit. My problem is poor MM. If I had a large bankroll though I could do staight bets as well.
But for now my only choice is parlays and I have to hit a big one soon....
As for poker, I am one of the few who can guarantee a win before the tourney starts. I know that sounds ridiculous, and of course sometimes I will lose. But more often than not when I put my mind to it, and guarantee a win I get it.
I won the championship tourney in florida in 2008 on my first shot. And I had only been playing for 8 months then. Now i am way better. I folded AK at the final table preflop. which is why I ended up getting 3rd....blinds were upto 200k and I only had 500,000 chips in my chip stack (Which i was one of the high stacks at the table...) so I was playing it safe. But now obviously i know you dont fold that in that situation. You raise all in, I had the button. Then everyone would of folded.
The flop came AK, I would of won the hand. So I would of probably finished 1st had I played that hand.
But playing tight is what got me to that final table to begin with, so I continued to. This was a 3 day tourney. And fast blind levels. Not an easy tourney to win that's for sure. But now, with my experience I see what i did wrong. I could of won that tourney 1st. Folding that AK was my demise. But I was happy to get 3rd and get the big trophy and sponsorship.
Usually you get 5k buy in to WPT for 1st...but the co. was ready to go out of business so that year I played was only a 1500 sponsorship for first.

I dont have a lot of family. I offered many times (even tried) sending proof in the form of screenshots to my family, that I can win at poker. But they just deleted them. They dont believe in "gambling"....I told them...it's not gambling if you do it professionally and you are winning long term (every year) of course no one can win every time, but I have the ability to make a profit from it, if I had the bankroll and means to play consistently.
