Pidi...great playoff picks so far. I think I remember you posting on a previous thread that you'd be backing Washington to win big when they got back home....what happened? 5 too much?

PIDI I went 3-0 last night with your help homie......I love Utah at home, even if alsto is back for the Rockets, Utah is probably the second best team in the west in my opinion......I like the Toronto Raptors at home tonight against an Orlando team that will be far from home, I think the Raptors are just as deep as the Magic and if they can just stay close in the first quarter for once I think they would win the game by 5 or more......I also like the Cavs , LeBron and the gang are just a better team, they have inside roll players like wallace and varejo do grab boards and play good D, and they have a good shooter in Gibson and West, plus big Z down low too make great passes and get points,.......I am 10 - 3 ATS in the playoffs and tonight i hope to improve, knock on wood......bottom line I love Utah, and like the Cavs, and Toronto!!!||Peace_5.gif' border=0>

robertcgould - Game 2 happened my friend! If this line would've been 1 to maybe 3 I would be on the Wiz, but not at 5 and not after what I saw in Game 2.

Pidi...it was after game 2 that you wrote this in your thread:
DeezyAZ81 - Obviously neither did I since I only laid a quarter on it! I will say though that when it get's back to Washington I am expecting the exact opposite!
But you answered my question...you think 5 is too many. Don't you think Cleveland getting 5 is SO easy tonight?

robertcgould - I know I said that after Game 2, but what I am saying to you is taht Game 2 makes me beleive that 5 is too many. Do I think that +5 is SO easy? NO, I think that nothing is easy. But, when I look at this game, I see Cleveland covering or winning outright more than I see Washington covering 5. I am not going to make the same mistakes I made last year when it comes to Cleveland. Last year I never gave them credit for the opponents offensive ineptness. Washington has missed and missed terribly and it is not that they are off, it is the Cleveland defense. Like I said, I could be wrong, but I just feel that 5 is way too many to give to a defensive squad and NBA runner-up last year. ||Peace_5.gif' border=0>

Just some food for thought:
Orlando is only 1-7 ATS in their last 8 meetings in Toronto yet the line is only -4. The main reason for that is Dwight Howard. Howard has been an absolute BEAST, a man amongst boys so to speak as he has had +20 points and +20 rebounds in both games thus far. It is so bad for Toronto that the head coach is likely going to bench TJ Ford and Nesterovic and start Calderon and Kapono instead. That is due to the fact that in the first two games of the series Toronto has been outscored 88-41 in the first quarter!
The Cavaliers are 8-0 ATS i their last 8 playoff games against the Wizards. Jamison, Butler, and Arenas are shooting less than 40% through the first two games, and are shooting 27% from behind the arc. It's not that they suddenly forgot how to shoot the ball, it is the Cleveland defense. When asked about their 4 straight wins against the Bulls in 2005 after falling back 0-2 head coach Eddie Jordan reminded everybody of one thing, "It's a different team we are playing. LeBron James wasn't on the Chicago Bulls team. He is extraordinary." I guess you would say the same thing if LeBron just put up 30 points, 12 assists, and 9 rebounds on you.
The Jazz are 9-1 ATS in their last 10 games. How about that, as they are also 9-1 ATS in their last 10 against Houston. Utah posted a 37-4 record at home this year. McGrady has been totally shut down in the 4th quarter in boith games one and two scoring a combined, are you ready, 1 point! If Alston plays tonight it still will not be enough to slow down the Jazz at home.

Very nice forst half for the Raptors, completely expected, ok maybe not by 21, but certainly expected them to come out on fire. Orlando makes a run in 2H and we'll see how it ends up.

Pidi...we'll see what happens with this Wizards game in the 4th....but I must say....I was SHOCKED to see you once again on the Magic and Cavaliers playing against two teams down 0-2 with their playoffs on the line at HOME. Washington & Toronto are completely different at home.

hate to say i told you so, but when i started thinking about it too, home or not, when you win by 30, and the next game, you're a 5 point underdog, the line basically tells you how to make your money, i'm sure you're good in the long run, but i gotta do it...i told ya so||an_shake.gif' border=0>

This is not the end yet, so we always get a second chance in life, it is this friday, between the same team. Hope I make better decisiom by then, and not rush into it.
Good luck to every one for the next play.
