Rockets to win the series -200

I dont follow the NBA much. What does everyone think of those odds? was game one a indication of how this series will play out?

Houston will grown man the Blaze and get their first round victory now that T-Mac is out of the picture.

I looked at the boxscores of the H2H meetings in the regular season and there is a reoocuring theme, the Rockets totally lambasting the Blazers in the first half. In 3 out of the 4 matches they have been up like 15+ points at half.
 
I think this could just be a awful matchup for the Blazers.

Seems like a steep change for a game that Protland was only -190 to win in the first place. You could have gotten Rockets +135 and now hedged the other way with Portland for guaranteed profit.

I wasnt even interested in betting the NBA at all but after watching the first game, then reading blazers fans reaction, basicaly admitting they were dreding this matchup and then looking at the H2H meetings this season, I almost cant look past the -200 for the series. With a young and very unexperianced team, I dont know how they are going to win on the road in a hostile enviroment.

Why not take them in Game #2 for +200, or even take the 5.5?  If they don't cover the spread, pound the hell out of the remaining series price.  .

Just my opinion if you think it's such a bad match up

I would never take the -200 price because the Rockets won the 1st game.  IMO I would see if the Blazers can salvage the split at home (I think they can) and try to get a -150 or -140 price for the remainder of the series after Game 2 if you like the Rockets.  There is no value in -200 right now.  Trust me on this:  The Blazers are not nearly as bad as they looked the other night.  Playoff jitters plus unbelievable shooting by the Rockets just buried them early.  I also don't think the Rockets are as good as they looked.  That being said I expect a 6 or 7 game series yet.

Disagree. There is plentyof value in -200 on the rockets when you look closely at the stats from the last 3 meetings. Its been ALL HOUSTON.

there's no value in the -200.  If you think Houston will sweep, take the ML on tonights game paying +220.

otherwise, after game 2 and then pound Houston. They'll be -110 or something at that point.

Yea, when I saw the playoff match-ups this year, I jumped right away on HOU to win the series.  None of Portland's big man can handle Yao Ming.
