hello friends, I think if there is any team today that needs to set the tone it's the Raps...I feel with their recent playoff experience they will be chomping at the bit to prove they are for real (kinda reminds me of Hou last year and Warriors when they first got really good). I expect them to put the hammer down.
118-98 Toronto
Raps -8
Raps TT over 109
Love the Pel/Blazers series and expect each team to win an away game. Will have a bet on this game later.

Brotha: I couldn’t agree more here. The raptors have stunk opening up series in the playoffs at home and at first glance 8 seems like a gift if you are backing Washington but for me, the raptors need to let the wizards know what’s up from the start and I feel they drop the hammer on Washington today. I’m looking at Lowry this postseason in that if the raptors are to play well, this dude has to ball out; I think we see that. It starts at the defensive end and controlling the glass and where I see a huge advantage in this series, it’s with the bench of Toronto. All the best this postseason amigo.

Thoughts on spurs/warriors? The spurs have been rolling and have played a lot of meaningful games down the stretch. I see a huge issue for the warriors in trying to contain Aldridge and I’d expect Pop to go there early and often. The key for me this series if the spurs are to have a chance is they have to make the warriors pay on the perimeter. It’s always scary betting against the warriors but something tells me without curry in the first round, the Spurs will take advantage of that in someway. I expect Pop to focus on half court ball and utilizing evetubs Cons of that shot clock to keep the possessions down as much as possible for the warriors. Easier said than done.....Last year, Kawhi got hurt and the spurs folded but up until that, they looked tough against the warriors. In being without kawhi all year and seeing their young players step up, I think Pop has to feel confident that they can at least keep these games close. I’m leaning taking the points in game 1.....thoughts?

Now bear with me as this is kinda out there. Referees, just like teams, either make the playoffs or not. Normally we get the Scott Fosters, Monty McCutchens, Danny Crawfords and Mike Callahans of the world to take care of the lead in post season and if you are lucky enough you get to tag along and follow their lead. In tonight's Pels/Blazers we get some virgin refs that are making their playoff debuts.
Malloy always takes a back seat in a few playoff games but hasn't been the lead ref, huge step up for him. We also get newcomers Eric Lewis (our fav over ref), Mark Lindsay and Brent Barnacky all of whom are usually on vacation this time of year. I can only imagine tat these refs are just as nervous as the Pels and Blazers players are. They definitely don't want to screw up as the League will be watching them like a hawk. I'm sure all parties want a well officiated, mistake free game so that they can have another chance during these playoffs to get another fat check.
Lewis was a ref in the Blazer game a few days ago when we beat Jazz handily. I think that doesn't repeat. Moreover I think these refs do everything in their power to call this one "fairly" and evenly so that their bosses approve. I think this will be a close game and I also believe each of these teams will win 1 on the other's floor. So adding those theories up I have to take the points in the "Please God don't let me screw up my referee debut in the playoffs" game of the week.

These 3 vs 6 match-up usually on the 1st day of playoffs favor the road team and traditionally go under. Going to see how this 3/6 game with Heat and 76ers goes and if it goes over or is a blowout will be very tempted to add more to Pels and perhaps Blazers TT under 109.5 and game under 217....
BTW Refs make an extra $9,000 in 1st round and more as rounds progress so that's a nice bonus for Malloy and crew and reason for them to keep it tight.

this 2nd half in Philly is an auto-play under, 3/6 usually grid down and this reminds me of last year's Pacers/Cavs where they both came out on fire w/ 125 1st half and ground down w/ 92 2nd, and Miamia on the road is a great under team
under 105 2nd Heat/76ers
where Mr. Bator and my peeps?

don't worry Uncle, it'll just inflate Game 2 total to 215.5 and we will pound the living shitt out of the under as Heat will slow that game down into molasses...no 60FT then I guarangodamntee ya
