Players taking nights off consistently awful product
Won't work, these guys love getting paid to sit on the bench with a cracked fingernail. Players used to play all 82 games and 4 games in 5 nights and there used to be only 3-4 days break for the all star break. These entitled twats know they still get paid, why should they care about fans taking the time to bring their families and paying exorbitant ticket prices?

Shorten season to like 54-60 games. teams. Relegate teams not in hunt to off-season. Stop me if you heard this one before have an "in-season tournament" but for seeding with remaining teams. Then proceed with playoffs as usual. Teams will keep their records and seeding going into In-Season Tournament.

@OddShaad
never gonna happen with the media rights deals--even the 2020 COVID season had 72 games with the regular season completed in the bubble, so the media rights money kicked in..tough seeing guys on the bench jumping around with no real injuries but it is what it is....
