Situational Spot - Clippers

This is an excellent spot for the Clippers catching the Knicks on a B2B. If you’ve been watching basketball for the past 10 years, you know that Tibs runs his guys into the ground. Josh Hart and Bridges average the #1 and #2 most minutes in the league. This has become such a problem that bridges spoke about it after he hit that game winner. Tibs did this in Minnesota and he did it in Chicago to D-rose, and probably contributed to his knee injuries.

The Knicks are a league worst 2-9 ATS when laying a B2B. They played against the Mavs last night with guys playing heavy minutes. Brunson is still out.

They catch a Clippers team here that is playing well. They have won 8 out of their last 10 and almost beat the Thunder. They are also coming off extended rest where they last played on Sunday and therefore their legs will be fresh. I believe Harden will play. The line opened last night at Clippers -2 and I grabbed it early as a max bet knowing it would move. I would still play it at 3/3.5 but I would grab it before it gets more steam.

I will in a back to back spot for a team with guys playing heavy minutes who is 2-9 ATS. I think you have to lay it. It’s the best bet on board by far IMO. Pacers are tough at home and who wants to bet on Brooklyn and lay points when they’re tanking agains the Raptors.

Thursday Action: 

Miami Heat -1.5 (105) 

Heat at Home, where they are much better than on the road. They are playing well and coming off a big win against the Warriors. I like for them to carry the momentum over when Atlanta comes into town. I don't see this as a let down spot. The heat, who are currently the #10 seed if the playoffs were to start today, are 4 games behind Atlanta who is the #7 seed. Miami knows that every game is pivotal.
