Speaking about chickens, I love the Nuggets pick today..
Bodio, are you doing MLB picks this year?
Of course I have best intentions. If you're really playing your whole BR on one play, I don't want you to do anything stupid. But I also want to make sure you understand the risk of doing something like that.
I will keep my eyes open for a play that I feel fits a lot of required criteria to 'possibly' qualify for something like what you're doing, or at least has a 60%+ shot of winning.
Keep reminding me in here, but I will send you a PM when and IF that play comes about (I don't want anyone else doing anything stupid either)

I looked up the wikipedia on the chicken-egg problem:
"Darwin's theory of evolution states that species change over time via mutation and selection. Since DNA can be modified only before birth, a mutation must have taken place at conception or within an egg such that an animal similar to a chicken, but not a chicken, laid the first chicken egg.[13][14] In this light, both the egg and the chicken evolved simultaneously from birds that were not chickens and did not lay chicken eggs but gradually became more and more like chickens over time.
However, a mutation in one individual is not normally considered a new species. A speciation event involves the separation of one population from its parent population, so that interbreeding ceases; this is the process whereby domesticated animals are genetically separated from their wild forebears. The whole separated group can then be recognized as a new species.
The modern chicken was believed to have descended from another closely related species of birds, the red junglefowl, but recently discovered genetic evidence suggests that the modern domestic chicken is a hybrid descendant of both the red junglefowl and the grey junglefowl.[15] Assuming the evidence bears out, a hybrid is a compelling scenario that the chicken egg, based on the second definition, came before the chicken."
It's always made the most sense to me that the egg came before the chicken. Since all chickens hatch from eggs it would make sense to call the egg the original chicken came from a "chicken egg" despite having parents that weren't quite the essense of the chicken.
BOOM goes the DYNOMITE!
I think you're (and Wikipedia) are right on. I agree. The EGG came first! 'nuff said! :)

yeah, Nuggz at -5.5 now I see. Incredible.
I do think they'll take care of biz in this one.
Atlanta is just an automatic 'fade' against quality opponents the rest of the way (unless the line is way shaded against them)

YES, S-Jax is a 'baller'. The guy is a great teammate and plays through injuries all the time. 75% S-Jax is huge, because it will motivate the rest of his teammates to play above and beyond tonight. Think about it, if you could be 1 game out of the playoffs with a win tonight against a team that you're chasing, how hard would you play?? Sure, Pacers are in a similar position, but their mentality might be slightly different. If they lose, they are still 1 game up and have the tie-breaker. Charlotte needs this one way more.
As to your 2nd question, well I disagree. Bobcats lost by 3, by 8 and by 1 to the Pacers this year. That's nothing in the NBA. This tells me that these teams are fairly equal and a bucket here, a rebound there, and a FT way down there, would have made those outcomes different. Charlotte had 3 days off to prepare for this one and I expect them to play really well.
I wouldn't be surprised if Bobcats blew the Pacers out tonight. We shall see

Always root for you Bodio. Always check your picks too. Thanks for the winner on Chicago last night. I wouldn't have felt comfortable betting w/o your selection. But could you make me not have to sweat it out next time? Whew that was close lol
