1) About 8 years. 2) Probably not, due to the first couple of years, when I lost a ton of money. 3) No. 4) Most of the time, yes. Still learning to be in full control though.

Thanks for your honesty. Do you think you can combine family life along with gambling? would you be open to your future wife about your bets etc.?

1) Here? Well, you can't place bets here. I've been posting here for about a year. I've been gambling for a decade or so.
2) This year, I have made more gambling than I have at my job. That is not usual, but lifetime? I am in profit.
3) Nope. In my 20's and single.
4) I would say 95% of the time, yes.

I personally think it's possible, but only if your fully in control of your betting behaviour, which asks for a huge amount of discipline and focus. I wouldn't suggest it to anyone though, cause I know how fast it can go downhill.

1) Not here but just in general, gambling in life: 12 years to date. It just makes things more exciting.
2) No due to my drinking problems. I would say that if I didn't drink, I'd be a break even player or make a little profit but still not enough to support myself. A steady, 40 hr a week minimum wage job would be more effective than to rely on gambling for income.
3) Single. My family is aware of my gambling but only my brother (who is another gambler) is aware of the amounts that I have lost. If the rest of my family were aware of how much I lost, they'd be horrified.
4) Yes, I'm in control of my gambling. I don't have to resort to illegal activities (stealing, selling drugs) to fund my gambling and my finances (credit card, bills, etc..) are still taken care of. Heck, I have significant amount of money ($50k) invested in the stock market, (~$29k) in my 401k, a 2001 car that is fully paid off and some spare cash on the side. For my age of 31, my net worth compared to others my age is in the 50%, which is decent.
"Schrödinger's bet." A bet that loses when you bet it but wins when you DON'T bet it...

i go through insane swings for my age. I just turned 25 with a great job. Was up 40K last year..then went through an insane swing, now down 20K.
I am no doubt a degenerate but most ppl wouldnt be able to tell. Ive cut down on drinking which is a huge plus. I consider myself a pretty decent capper. And if it wasnt for the yolo bets and fck it mentality, id be up alot. All it takes is disicpline. It is very hard to control since everytime you win, your mentality takes it as something that comes easy. Slowly getting out of the hole.
2 words: Patience and Discipline
The swings have made me immune to money and i have honestly lost value in it. I made 4 digit bets without batting an eye as long as i am confident in it. I am not materialistic in anyway. I have the proper amount of money saved in my 401K according to this link:
Most ppl cannot tell the sick swings i go through. I really want to transition into the market and trading..but this period in time is the worst to get in it. I use this site to vent my frustration on bad beats and the sick things that happen.
And finally...
"It's not a problem if you always win"

1) You righteous product of the Condom with the hole - this is not a gambling site
2) I'm in profits since the day I was born. You too - imagine how many imbeciles had to come precisely at the specific time for your dumbness to be here and be able to ask dumb questions! Compared and relative to you - even a North Korea leader is in profits.
3) No. I prefer to masturbate. But, if I didn't masturbate - I may have had around 5,000,000 children
4) I feel like I'm in control of your life with my right hand you dumb fuk

Only a few might be honest with themselves but for many gambling is a destructive habit... yes, discussing which team will win and the lines as well is "fun" but it's also taking over your time, and so is gambling.
Not here to preach, just expressing my own experience ... been gambling for 15 years since I was 16, and can only be sorry for having my first bet.
Now got a child that was born recently, don't want him to get close to it ... no need to have it in life ... life can be so much better without gambling.

Why all those who had bets on the HOU/GSW game just check in here and face a reality check? So many of you were placing wagers over 240+ points on this one.
