I’ve been colder than a witches tit (never exactly knew what that saying meant) so took a couple days off. Maybe should have taken tonight off to, only time will tell.
I think this is a good spot for the Spurs. Last televised game to highlight Wemby against possible other ROY Chet. Spurs are actually playing decent ball and finally catch OKC in a trap situation of a home b2b with travel. I think Pop will let his team play tonight for the win, there’s no b2b situation for Wemby so hopefully he plays all game. Seems like his mates will rally around him in this situation against most likely the ROY. Anything can happen in this League but I’d be remiss if I didn’t bet Spurs at home in this spot.

Why these clowns take a day off when they play B2B? WTF is that? These clowns are so fragile! Why idiotic people still paying for season tickets to watch these overpaid clowns?

The Thunder will be playing their 10th game in the last 17 days tonight. No way were they expecting to be challenged last night by the Blazers whom they'd pummeled by 62 points just twelve days earlier. The Thunder jumped out to leads of 18-7 and 38-25, at which point I think they collectively took their foot off the gas. The Blazers took advantage of that and proceeded to surprise everyone by outscoring the Thunder 41-20 to close the half. Now the Thunder knew they were in a game. They managed to erase Portland's 66-58 halftime lead and carry a slim 2-point lead into the 4th quarter. That 4th quarter couldn't have been any tighter. The largest lead either team had was 3 points. The Thunder got lucky to avoid an embarrassing home loss and I think the whole evening took a lot out of them.

You're not kidding. The Spurs are in the midst of an astonishing streak in which they have gone 11 games without getting beat by 20 points or more. Over their first 32 games, they suffered 8 such defeats. Asking the Spurs to win the game tonight, however, is asking a lot. Their last four wins came against the Blazers, Pistons, Hornets, and Wizards.

11 straight games of keeping within 20, the new standard

Agreed that it is a favourable spot for the Spurs. If I wasn’t invested in Chet for ROY, I’d probably back them here. Could look at it as a sort of hedging opportunity. Gonna give it some more thought.
I agree that the team probably wants to try and help Wemby win ROY, but I think the same could be said for OKC and that’s a much stronger support group. Neither guy played well in the first meeting and I expect both to play better tonight. It’s very early in their careers, but honestly Chet has shown me more of the competitive spirit so far. As JJ Redick would say “he’s an asshole and I mean that as a compliment”.
Wemby gave Embiid plenty of space on his way to 70. Daring the process to shoot given the weight difference, but Chet is a slender man just like Vic. What really scares me about this game is the focus on this matchup and how physical both players could play tonight. This puts the game in the hands of the refs and I’m pretty sure nobody wants that.
Wishing you the best of luck tonight.
P.S. Not sure how cold a witch’s tit is but I do know that if she weighs the same as a duck then she must be made of wood and she’ll burn like a witch.

The whole 1st game back after 5 game road trip and 1st game of a 7 game home stretch has me questioning what Spurs team we will get. Also afraid that the Blazers woke up the Thunder and they now know they have to play more than 2+ quarters.
Good Luck!

snake-eyes I rolled the dice on Spur showing up for this game but they didn't, my apologies if I influenced any losing bets, I lost $500 if that makes a difference...it does amaze me how some NBA teams are not competitive especially at home sorry guys I'm back to the sidelines for a while
