Pretty sure Nash was recommended by Durant and Kyrie so SAS should talk to those two BLACK players on why they wanted NASH to be their head coach. Pretty sure if KD & Kyrie wanted a black coach (even tho race didn’t really matter to them) then they would have a black coach . 

I watched it live and it was one of the biggest shitshows I have ever seen. The majority of the NBA is black but that is not good enough for him. He says Steve Nash getting hired is white privilege which is simply crazy. I also do not get why its so hard to understand and does it not seem odd to everyone how now he wants people to get hired because of race?? I mean what does race have to do with coaching basketball??

Being a coach/GM is not just a job, its a hard job to get and it makes no sense that race plays apart in any of it. I do not see any white people, who are easily the majority of the country, complaining about the lack of white players on the court...

seriously my jaw dropped when i heard the news. there is no way a  new black coach gets that job to be fair. durant signed a three year contract plus one. my point is durant only has 2-3 years to play at the top level, why do you want to take a gamble with that. you can check my previous posts, i was against the nba players boycotting the season but lets call a spade a spade, this reeks of a white privilege to me. 

Some people can't accept the fact that a white person can be better than a black person in a majoritary ''black'' sport  and vice versa

Look at Lewis Hamilton and Tiger Woods! its the same thing with Luka (who have a chance to be the greatest basketball player of his generation)  and I can throw Eminem in there as well even tho its not sports related.

SAS just basically said that he want a black person as head coach even if that same person is not better suited for the job, if this is not an act of racism against white people then i'm probably stupid.

Even more frustrating he throw politics in there as if Steve Nash as a role to play in that situation.

You do realize that Durant chose Nash.  They are close from their time with Golden State.  This would’ve never happened without KD 

I didnt know durant makes the final decision on the nets. Ty lue coached kyrie to a championship in the eastern conference, doesnt that factor more than just durant being close nash. come on man

Steve Nash will be the best dancer in the Nets organization. Also. Nash could turn out to be the next Pat Riley!
